Btw people say that blood song is roughly based on this. I am in 13th chapter but so far I donfind any similarities. Do you also find any similarity between Kote and Vaelin?

The book is quite slow to get going, though Rothfuss's flair has got me hooked.I'm sure I'm liking his somewhat poetic narrative, but every now and then there is a haunting desire to pause, and I feel like I want to go out and get some fresh air.In chapter 12 now.

This Abenthy guy has been the coolest guy for me so far. Though his ideas and sympathy concepts aren't the first-time-ever-in-fantasy stuff, his presentation of the concepts to Kvothe is impeccable.In the company of such teachers, we'd feel nothing in the world is complex at all.And he is of the never to exercise his wit at the expense of others kind.That adds to a good teacher's charm.

And its really interesting to see the various opinions about the pace of the book. I don't find it slow at all. I am at a loss to fathom why so many think so. Am I the only one against Anirudh, Manju, Utkarsh, Vimal, etc.? O_O
