These all seem pretty good!

I have one tagged family x 64 that I finished today.

Do we need to each read at least one?

At this point I think that one of each is easiest. Although I haven’t found a family get so if someone has more than one family then I can do more then one disappearance.

I found a family book and a disappearance book I can use.

I read it wrong! I’m on track now.

I have finished all of my books and I do have books to cover the tasks so if anyone needs me to assist with another book I can do so.

I have 2 of my tasks finished. I'm going to look for a family task but I may have you grab my haunted house task.

Ok-The haunted house task is my favorite so just let me know.

I finished the books for my last two tasks and will load them tonight after work!

No problem-I’ve got it.

I actually have 3 books finished and I could cover your family book if you need me to. It just happened to work out that way. I am not going to add read dates to my 2 remaining tasks until I see if you want to use my book. I am okay either way, just let me know!

That would be great Christine. That way we can get our next tasks without waiting for me to read another book!

Sorry y'all - I finished my haunted house book.this morning before sleeping and forgot to update it. We are all done now and posted to prisoner drop off. Our next clown will be Twisty.

I am sending this clown back for resorting. There are too many Arm 1's & Leg 1's and not enough Arm 2's.

That was my bad- I didn't double check that prior to submission. I've fixed it now- do you want me to resubmit to Prisoner Dropoff?

Twisty

Twisty is a clown with a mental disability. He worked with Rusty Westchester's Traveling Circus. The carnival freaks, jealous of his popularity, spread a false rumor that he was molesting children. He lost his job and could no longer find work as a clown. He returned to his hometown to find his mother had died. Desperate and angry, he attempted suicide. He survived but his lower jaw had been blown off in the attempt. He began wearing a wide-grin prosthetic mask over his missing jaw. He also decided to make the children love him again by keeping them safe from their mean parents. They made them do chores and denied them candy.
He also thought the carnival freaks that cost him his job were "stealing" the children so he had to protect them from them as well. So he started wearing his clown suit and carried a sack that held his juggling pins. He became a bloodthirsty kidnapper and serial killer but he didn't realize that his actions were wrong.

Complete the following tasks

Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books that start with a letter in CIRCUS
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books with candy on the cover
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books with all the letters of the word JUGGLING in the title/series

I think I have a few for mental disability and easily have CIRCUS and candy on cover. I’m still searching for JUGGLING in as that one with that J will be challenging.

I agree - juggling will be hard to find. I’ll also have to think on the mental disability one as well.

I read that first one with a character and not characters so the books I had in mind won't work. But thankfully I have another one that has more than one character with mental disability.

I finished that book and am working on my circus one now. Still looking for something that appeals for JUGGLING!

I did come upon another book that counts for JUGGLING that I can read if y'all are having trouble finding one.

Thanks Shaw! I am getting ready to start my third book (candy on the cover). Depending on how close everyone is to being finished, I may ask you to take the juggling one.

I’ll be starting my Juggling book today which is my last one. So I’ll be finished in a couple of days.

Those three G letters and the J make it really tricky to find one and I happened upon a second one while looking for something unrelated. I should be finished with my Juggling book Friday morning so then I can begin the second Juggling book and I should finish that one by Sunday I think.

@ Christine - I just realized that my CIRCUS book also counts for characters with mental health so I could move that one and then you could read another CIRCUS book if that is easier.

That would be great! I am struggling with this one. I can add a CIRCUS book right now...or after you move your book :) I jumped the gun on that one

I finally found a book for Juggling!

That's great Christine! I really think that has been one of the most difficult tasks so far!! (I'm glad Shaw took it for me 😊)

I did just update it as all finished. I forgot to do that earlier.

I finished that darn juggling task. I'm off to find a book with Candy on the cover.

Let me know if you have difficulty finding one cuz I have a couple that count just lying about.

Cleaver & Lil Miss Cleaver

The Cleaver was a man who found a job as a clown but then came home to discover his wife was having an affair. He put on his clown suit and then killed her and her lover. The cops showed up and he ran off laughing. He disappeared but children also disappeared every year and someone was always found butchered at the same time. He is looking for his daughter, whom he had left behind and was put up for adoption. Once he finds her, it becomes a family business! The Cleavers are known for setting traps and enjoy torturing their victims.

I’m still working on the family business one but all the others I’m good.

Ugh- the book I had for disappearance didn't quite fit that so I'm gonna have to substitute it for another one.

I thought I had a book for the CLEAVER, but I am missing an R. Grrrrrr. Off to find a different book.
