Carolyn F. I finished the audiobook of Blue-Eyed Devil which was so good. The narrator did a great job. Almost done with Conspiracy Game.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I am reading Tempting the Beast (Breeds, #1) by Lora Leigh and will start Lion's Heat (Breeds, #21) by Lora Leigh later today. You gotta love the Breed's for their Dangerous Heroes.

message 203: by Jamie (new)

Jamie I am currently reading Dark Curseand if Nicolas De La Cruz isn't a bad boy then I don't know who is. These Carpathian books have some very sexy, bad boy hero's in them...

Darcy you got the Breed books! It didn't hurt the story later, but it's nice to see how it all started.

message 205: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I'm reading Dangerous Games right now.

I am now all caught up with the exception of Elizabeth's Wolfe. I got the e-book for that and need to wait for a day when I am bored and can handle sitting at the computer for a long time to read.

It was interesting to read the first one and the latest ones.

Elizabeth's Wolf was a very sweet story. Learning about Cassie and watching her "grow-up" through the other stories has been great. I can't wait for her story but know it's far off on LL's list since she mentioned she has some more growing up to do before she finds her mate.

message 209: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I liked Elizabeth's Wolf too Kristine. I noticed that a lot of people said it was their favorite Breed book.

It's definitely in my top 3. My favorite was Dawn's Awakening. What a wonderful story that was...I was all teary eyed during the scene where Seth forces Dawn to face her fears! Then Bengal's Heart and Elizabeth's Wolf. Loved them!

message 211: by Chasidy (new)

Chasidy I just picked up Kiss of Crimson by Lara Adrian but I'm going back and forth about whether or not I should start it because I keep looking over at Ward's The Covet. I can't seem to make up my mind.

message 212: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I liked Kiss of Crimson myself but had to stop reading The Covet because it wasn't my cup of tea at the time. I will go back and try to read it again.

I just finished Dangerous Games and am now reading Embraced By Darkness.

message 213: by Chasidy (last edited Apr 27, 2010 01:50PM) (new)

Chasidy Carolyn, I think Kiss of Crimson was was faith because I have no idea where my copy of Covet went. I searched for half an hour last night thinking I'd just read a chapter or two to see if I instantly got sucked in, and it was no where to be found! So instead I started on Kiss of Crimson and I think I just fell in-love with Dante. I sort of want to be a Vet now. LOL!

message 219: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Finally (!) received Lions and Lace (Meagan McKinney), which I'd read several years ago and lost: I bought a used book of Amazon, and it is in such bad shape!! I can live with creases and dog-eared pages, but someone actually wrote on the side of the book (which I HATE with a fiery passion) and cut off part of the cover...

Anyhow, Trevor Sheridan is the H, and is so ruthless! I love him! :-)

Chasidy - Dante is my favorite of the Breed!!! So sexy!
I also have Covet to read, and I'm trying to prolong the anticipation till I have 3 straight hours and an afternoon by the pool to get through it (right now any book I read is in the car, between classes, and when I'm lucky, for a couple hours in the evening):-p

I finished Lover Mine (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #8) by J.R. Ward . I want to marry this book and have its children. My eyes are so starry right now.

Currently reading Wild Fire (Leopard People, #4) by Christine Feehan and Stetsons, Spring and Wedding Rings (Includes Bride, #3) by Jillian Hart . Christine Feehan knows how to bring on the intensity. I'm already in love with Conner, with his bad self. :)

Eric's the cute blond vampire on True Blood, right?

message 235: by Chasidy (last edited May 05, 2010 02:09AM) (new)

Chasidy @Arch- Yes, Eric is the SEXY blond vampire on True Blood. ;)

@Michelle- I am totally an Eric fan, too.

@Melanie- I'm waiting for one of those days to read Covet, too.

Currently reading Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I have finally decided to pick this book up and now that I'm almost done with it, I can't remember why I put it off for so long. Fang is so unbelievably gorgeous and... BAD!! Next TBR book is hopefully Lover Mine by J.R Ward or Wicked Becomes You by Meredith Duran

Currently reading Wild Fire (Leopard People, #4) by Christine Feehan and Covet (Fallen Angels, #1) by J.R. Ward... As soon as I have time... But Lover Mine... I've been saving Lover Avenged to read till I have at least 3 JR Wards to read in a row... Now I can start Lover Avenged this weekend, hoping that JM's book will arrive before I'm done!

Otherwise I get all depressed!! Now as soon as I calm down on JD Robb's In Death series that I started two days ago... I'm sooo hooked!! I'm on the third now Immortal in Death (I bought the first four last summer, thank God), so I'll have to order the next couple In Death books as well... Good Lord, I have no idea how I'm going to get through all my TBR!! I should take a month off and spend all day lying by the pool reading! No time though... How sad is that?!

message 237: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Oh... And I mustn't forget to order Dead in the Family... the thing is, I really don't like hardcovers... It's a bit of a dilemna... to wait or not to wait??? hmmm

I don't care for hardcovers either. I usually trade them in at the used bookstore when I'm done. Only for my favorite authors will I buy hardcovers.

message 241: by Melanie (last edited May 05, 2010 11:51AM) (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Lol... just passed my order on bookdepository... Naturally, I ended up ordering more than just Lover Mine... I ordered the In death books #5-10, and Tessa Dare's Goddess of the Hunt and 5 of the Once upon the time series (lol.. remastered fairy tales... Before Midnight: A Retelling of "Cinderella",Beauty Sleep: A Retelling of "Sleeping Beauty",The Wild Orchid: A Retelling of "The Ballad of Mulan", Belle: A Retelling of "Beauty and the Beast", and Suzanne Weyn's Distant Waves and The Diamond Secret: A Retelling of "Anastasia").
I'm going to wait for Dead in the Family to come out in PB... I just don't want to have to bother finding an extra big space in my already cramped bookshelves, lol.. but I really want to read what happens next!!! :-)

Oh... And the other day I ordered Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.. yet another of those books everyone talks about and I never read... As well as Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels, which is supposed to be hilarious!!! But I'll have to pick them up from my grandma's in Paris where I had them delivered (no delivery costs with Amazon.fr)...

message 248: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments OMG, you don't know it??? It's bookdepository.co.uk, an online bookstore, with no delivery costs anywhere in the world (they send the books one by one), and pretty good prices!!! I often bounce between amazon and bookdepository for prices, and bookdepository often has a couple % off.. it's worth it! :-) Go have a look, it's really good!

Otherwise, I'm done with Immortal in Death, but will wait till tomorrow morning to start Rapture in Death.. Can't wait!!!!
