Have any of you ever met anyone like Ken who NEVER gets offended and is always willing to joke about anything, even himself? That's a rare trait and your wife is one lucky lady. And your son is gorgeous. Congrats.

New York City, Charlene.

It's J.P. Morgan's study.

message 779: by Char (new)

David Wilson This is the wall of bookshelves we had built last summer. They are now mostly full, at least two rows deep ....

I would use the piano to store books.....

message 786: by David (new)

David Wilson Several of our bookcases exploded. That's why we built these in strong and deep (well, to be precise, we had someone who knows HOW do it for us). To put the size in perspective, that's a concert grand piano that Trish has owned all her life. What you can't see behind it are all my guitars, and my Mandocello (and to the right the banjo)

You would not if the wrath of Trish threatened you...the piano is off limits for storage.

Furniture is for books.

message 790: by David (new)

David Wilson Lol. A Mandocellow is a very large mandolin strung with four sets of 2 strings (like the six sets on a 12 string guitar) and tuned like a cello.

message 791: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 12043 comments Mod
Can you do Angus Young riffs on it?

message 792: by David (new)

David Wilson No, but I can do them on my guitar. My son Zane has that down better...he can do Thunderstruck pretty seamlessly...

Nice bookshelves!
