That's a brilliant cake. I won a Jeep cake years ago - eating black icing seemed odd but it was lovely. It was announced that I had won a 'Jeep' after a dealers off road driving day and I was handed keys but it was the cake not the real car :o(

Good luck indeed - but think of the other end of the process, too! My students are all handing in their assignments today so it's a happy week of marking! (oh, and not very much craft unless I make paper aeroplanes out of their scripts - which is tempting, now I come to think of it ... I'm sure yours will be a much higher standard!)

Definitely have to have a go at bookbinding. I bought a couple of 'make your own books' books last year, they were gorgeous, tho needless to say I've done absolutely nothing with them yet!

Did anyone see the section on it on Kirstie's Homemade Home? I missed the programme but have the book - it looks lovely.

I've done the decoupage bit from that book - it was completely addictive! Don't know what to do with two papier mache birds of non-specific breed, though (and don't talk to me about feet).

Hi, I've just found this thread and thought I'd say hi. I've recently discovered Crochet and I love cross stitch and baking (although I'm not brilliant at any of them!)

At last have managed to get my craft lamp ,hopefully will help me to do all these crafts I imagine myself (but probably will not do )
