Sheesh, Michelle, you finished your first book fast.
I started my first book last night but didn't get to far since I needed to get some shut eye so I could get up for work! Responsibility sucks!

Hah! I'm so with you on that one. With my copy of Prey having finally arrived yesterday, I really wanted to call in sick today so I could lounge around the garden reading all day. Apparently though, they actually expected me to come in to work today. Pah... ;)

Do you remember that jingle "I don't wanna grow up...". Yep, I could totally relate, and I am really thinking I should have called in sick (why oh why did you put that thought in my head, DarkHeart?!).I mean my boss would never know he's not here, lol.
Oh well I'm already here I guess that would be a little hard to pull off. In the mean time I'm listening to JD Robb's book Naked in Death, although not Paranormal it's quite good. I'm hopeful that it will help the day go by fast, so that I can get home and finish Raine's story.

Happy reading, everyone!

I'm sorry to hear that your poor baby isn't feeling well, but glad to hear that he seems to be getting better. I'm so jealous - not about the sick baby and lack of sleep part - that you're reading, while I'm sitting here a work wishing with all my heart that it was the weekend already...or at least 4:30 when I get off of work. I guess I'll just have to settle for a quick read during lunch time, where I'm off to now :)

Enjoy your lunch! And the book! It's a shame we always seem to be wishing the days away so we can get to the books quicker! It's an illness... Lol

Ok, I forced myself to finish this, even tho it was horribly edited. The premis was actually quite good, but the editing. . . It was bad enough that it actually interfered greatly with the story. I give the book 3 star because the story was that good. I have been known to knock off 3 or even 4 stars for the editing. In this case, I actually ADDED 2 stars for the story. If it hadn't been such an unusual and good premis, it would have rated only 1 star.

I just finished Fatal Infatuation today 7/2.
I'm so glad that I decided to read this instead of Vampire Seduction as my vampire selction for this months challenge. I actually gave this one five stars. It does bring Twilight to mind as some have said, as there are some, but not many similarities between Cain, the main character in Fatal Infatuation, and Twilight's Edward. This is much darker, and more "grown up". I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of this series. I really think its unfortunate that Melanie Nowak's work hasn't received more attention. Hopefully that will change in the near future.

I figured about the audiobooks, but I can't stand them anyway. (Somehow, I always fall asleep. The only one I could bear is Lolita, with Jeremy Irons reading, and I love his voice. xD)
