No, I just meant that I had to finish books that wouldn't count as well.

Yep, that's totally fine. If you read a book and write the review, you can then 'hold' that review back until you're on a square that it counts for ☺ Just wait to publish the review in the reviews thread ☺

Cielo | 127 comments When we finish a book, do we put the entry on this thread, or is there somewhere else we're supposed to put it?

message 358: by Cielo (new)

Cielo | 127 comments How do you put the picture of the book?

message 359: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Cielo wrote: "When we finish a book, do we put the entry on this thread, or is there somewhere else we're supposed to put it?"

You put your reviews here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Make sure to follow the format! :)

message 360: by Cielo (new)

Cielo | 127 comments Thanks, I just realized that, but thanks anyway. It says you need the picture of the book though. I don't know how to put the picture.

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Cielo wrote: "How do you put the picture of the book?"

On the upper right corner above the comment box, there's a link that says add book/author. click that and there'll be a search bar that will pop up. Click the bubble with cover then search for your book, then add :)

Yes ☺

Thanks for helping Mei ☺

message 363: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Kennedy (laurenxo) This might be a stupid question but just say if I read a sci-fi book now, and then read a book with a yellow cover and end up on a square that qualifies for sci-fi, would I be able to count the sci-fi book I read before I read the one with the yellow cover or do I have to read them in order?

message 364: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90931 comments Mod
That's fine. You can read the books in any order you like, just 'hold' the review until you get to a square that it qualifies for, and then post it in the reviews thread ☺

message 365: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Kennedy (laurenxo) Ok thanks!

message 366: by Rachael (new)

Rachael (classycupcakezz) | 5933 comments Question... Is Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3) by Tahereh Mafi considered Paranormal/Fantasy? And since the hardback copy has 416 pages is that the number we use?

Also is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter, #3) by J.K. Rowling considered Red?

message 367: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90931 comments Mod
ignite me is fine for paranormal/fantasy. you can use 416 pages, or you can use a different edition which is 352 - its up to you.

I don't think harry potter would really count for red though.

Noella wrote: "Can Hold Still by Nina LaCour count for white square?"

I've done some calculations and it works out at just under 50% white, so unfortunately it's not white enough to count. sorry :(

I have a problem with this edition: it doesn't said the number of pages :(

message 400: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90931 comments Mod
That's yellow enough. Most editions are between 250 and 350 pages. just choose whether you want to move 2 spaces or 3 spaces and go with that ☺
