The Bone House by Brian Freeman The Bone House by Brian Freeman Finished 4/15 ★★★★

When the Bone house is burned to the ground with 3 members of the Bone family inside Mr. Bone is arrested and convicted of murder and arson. He never made it to prison though and escaped during transport. Now 20 years later is the local boogeyman. When more people are murdered that are associated with Mr. Bone the case is re-opend. Nothing is at it seems. This was my first book by this author but definitely won't be the last. Good book I rated it ★★★★

As I was doing a review for this book, I think it would be great for a book club discussion. The answers aren't always obvious or what you're looking for, there are different characters that people could identify with and while the pace bothered me - it is obviously working for others. I think you'd have a lively discussion with it. But if you're looking for a romance - this isn't it.

The Sins of the Mother by Danielle Steel by Danielle Steele 4 Stars 4-18-14

Been a long time since I read a Danielle Steele book. I really enjoyed this one. I loved to see Olivia interact with each of her children and watch every relationship evolve through the book. Her connections with her grandchildren were fun to read about too. I will say I was so glad that Amanda went away because she was so rude. This was a great book.

Lawyer: Olivia had wanted her senior lawyer at the meeting page 9

Motherhood: She found business more exciting than motherhood. page 29

Fish: had to offer fishing for her sons page 35

pool: over for pizza and to use the pool
page 64

window: she looked out the window of her hotel room page 156

starve: been emotionally starved and didn't know it page 219

Cake: quite as "piece of cake" as the technician had promised page 325
