Buddy Read? Requests here!

After enjoying my reread of To the Lighthouse, I'd be interested if you don't mind another Sam.

We have read both To the Lighthouse and Mrs. Dalloway in the group. Here is the link to our Virginia Woolf discussion threads: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

Thanks Katy.

I am just about as blank as my picture most days, and please drop a reminder on Mrs. Dalloway when it's reading time.

I've read Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse and Orlando but am interested in reading her The Waves if you get to that one. An amazing writer.

If you want to start a bit earlier, I am reading Monday or Tuesday, a short story collection, in September with another group.

I would like to join this read too. I haven't read any of her work so this should be a good start for me. I already have the books.

Thank you Marilyn. I hope to. I am writing it down. If I get time, I will private message you :)

Oh good. See you there Shaina 👍

Have you read it already or this is the first time?

This is my first time Nidhi. I have read The Odyssey which may help or not. I also have detailed annotation in Ulysses Annotated by Don Gifford.

one of my friend is also interested in this read , i will notify her if its finalised.

Sure Nidhi use format you feel comfortable with. I am going to try the ebook format because the copy I bought is not the quality level I thought I bought. I will make it work. I have time.. . . . I will let the moderators know,
Planning a group read of Time and Again with Candi and Lori beginning September 15th. I am putting up a thread and welcoming anyone who might like to join us.

I just looked up the book. Sold at "Old New York." Plus, I can use it for my Scifi Bingo challenge.

P.S. This is one of the longer works on the 1001 BBYD and the Guardian 1000 lists.

I am along for this. I'll be rereading the novel and listening to the Juliet Stevenson audio narration so I 'll probably pace myself for enjoyment. Did you have a target date for finishing?

I am hoping to be finished by the end of the October. It is a reread for me, and I have rewatched the movie at someone's suggestion at another group when reading another work of VW. Not to worry about hurrying as someone else has private messaged and will probably start in November. So Sam, do you think you will be able to join in?

I read this some time back and maybe "got" 5%. Which makes it a perfect buddy re-read for me. My schedule for now is daunting. Maybe late Dec, or if I remember I can join you and others in progress(?)

He is also the author of the 1100 page "2666".

I am looking at the New Year to be honest but thought I would post in plenty of time to gauge interest

January would be about right. I am interested, but not ready to commit yet.

Thanks people, I'll re post in December and if we're still on, get it formally added.

Sorry, I just noticed this message. If you're still buddy reading this month, feel free to create your own discussion thread, as we don't have an existing one for this book.

I’ve added the link to the schedule :)
There were a few people who were interested in reading Louise Erdrich. We want to read Tracks starting January 1st 2021 If you are interested you might want to pencil this in for next year. I will set up a thread mid-December. All are welcome!

I would like to join this buddy read!

Thanks for posting Cynda. Start with Mrs. Dalloway and go from there. Plan to post out on Litsy as well.
