Hello! I have ARCs available for a thriller/mystery Not Here.

Please leave your email or PM me and I'll send a digital copy. Thanks so much!

Synopsis:
Would you surrender your free will to save your life?

A city in turmoil. A neighbor disappears. When her concerns are written off, Dina investigates on her own — and becomes a target, at the mercy of those in control…

In San Francisco, where the poor are systematically displaced by well-off yuppies, Dina Ostica is part of the problem. The damaged, determined twenty-three-year-old scrambles to make a name for herself in the burgeoning world of podcasting, with the city as her muse. She is hell-bent on professional success, thinking it will mend her broken spirit.

But when her go-to source on local history disappears without warning, she begins to uncover an uncanny pattern that hits too close to home, getting her tied up in the city’s underbelly.

What follows is a gritty tale of exploitation, betrayal, and the strength one needs to survive the whims of those in power.

Will Dina escape or fall victim to the injustice chewing up the city?

If you love contemporary thrillers with strong female protagonists, don’t miss this read!

I would so like someone to review my new novel, 'Five Peso Badge'. It's about a guy called Emmett Capps who comes from a disadvantaged background and who joins the Texas Rangers. He has to deal with a series of murders that could be the work of either a drugs cartel or of a serial killer.
He's juggling that with a dysfunctional family - an alcoholic mother and a flaky brother who risks compromising his job with the Rangers.
This story has a non-stop forward momentum until the final shoot-out.

Grazia Gironella I'm an Italian author of novels and non-fiction and I'm looking for honest reviewers for my mystery novel Searching for Goran, that is receiving a very warm welcome by Italian readers. It's the story of a man struck by amnesia after a car accident, dealing with a reality he cannot grasp and with visions emerging from what appears to be another place and another time, where he is another man. (The novel was translated from Italian by a professional English native speaker.) Many thanks to all those who will help me break the barrier of the single 5-star-review!

Sen Jayaprakasam | 1 comments I'm a new British author (my debut novel has just been picked up and published by an independent publisher) and I was wondering if anyone might be interested in reviewing it?

It's called 'The Sparrows of Unity' and is a YA/Crossover conspiracy thriller that explores racism and homophobia in modern Britain. (Incidentally, it was also written in support of a charity that works to improve literacy levels in the UK - The National Literacy Trust).

Its goodreads link is here:

And it's available on amazon on kindle and paper back here:

If anyone is interested, please feel free to PM me,

5 stars Masterful book. You will want it to be the first in a series...
March 1, 2019
Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase
This is a cleverly written, intricately crafted novel which follows Texas Ranger, Emmett Capps, as he investigates a series of deaths whose linkage is unclear. The narrative is complex and delivered in a compelling voice that never wavers. The central character is a rounded, troubled, flawed and completely engaging figure whose presence takes the reader by the hand, even while the dark narrative of the novel grips them firmly by the throat. All the characters – however briefly encountered – have a three-dimensional quality, and the more challenging ones, including the killer, have a psychological truth that makes them troublingly difficult to forget. This is a fast paced story in the “gun-toting cop” genre; readers of this genre will enjoy it immensely and will hope that it is the first in a series. But it is also a book that deserves a wider readership amongst crime enthusiasts, for the elegance of the writing and the razor sharp psychological detail. Enjoy.

Shaun | 1 comments Last year, I published a detective action thriller, Relics of the Dead. Available on Amazon here -> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/194...

It does focus a lot on action and romance, as well as character banter (one of my favorite things to write), and I'm looking for reviewers/readers/etc. If you're into that, check it out. It's the first in line of a possible series.

Philip Elliott (philipelliott) Hey everybody, my debut crime thriller NOBODY MOVE isn't officially out until September, but you can download it for free right now on NetGalley ( https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/boo... ). I'd love if you read it, and all I ask in return is that you post a review on NetGalley when finished, and Goodreads too, of course! Info about the book is below! Thanks :)

"If you can't watch Pulp Fiction or Kill Bill or even the Italian Job or a spaghetti western or two enough times, then this is the crime fiction novel for you. With nods to all the great pulp movies of the last few decades, Nobody Move is a fast-moving, rocking thriller set among the neon lights of Los Angeles. It's filled with goofball hoods, hitmen, losers on the run, strip club princesses, cowboys quoting biblical passages and antsy for vengeance, bags of loot, car chases through the badlands of concrete, gun battles, knife battles, hopeless love, and, of course, the getaway driver who thrills to blast Pantera at high volume as he corners and tears out." —Goodreads top #100 reviewer, DaveonGoodreads

Eddie Vegas made a terrible mistake. Now he has to pay the price.

After a botched debt collection turned double murder, Eddie splits, desperate to avoid his employer, notorious L.A. crime boss Saul Benedict, and his men (and Eddie’s ex-partners), Floyd and Sawyer, as well as the police. Soon he becomes entangled with the clever and beautiful Dakota, a Native American woman fresh in the City of Angels to find her missing friend—someone Eddie might know something about. Meanwhile in Texas, ex-assassin Rufus, seeking vengeance for his murdered brother, takes up his beloved daggers one final time and begins the long drive to L.A. When the bodies begin to mount, Detective Alison Lockley’s hunt for the killers becomes increasingly urgent. As paths cross, confusion ensues, and no one’s entirely sure who’s after who. But one thing is clear: They’re not all getting out of this alive.

As much a love letter to neo-noir cinema and L.A. as it is satire, the first book in the Angel City novels is a lightning-speed crime thriller equal parts Elmore Leonard and Quentin Tarantino. Nobody MoveNobody Move

SPRess | 2 comments Hey!! I have a book here that I think will interest Thriller fanatics!!!

Tadhg and the Pockel is a thriller that was published in May 2017 and was written by Michael Sands, it was positively reviewed by Irish News who described the book as "a storyline that will have you in stitches, whether you are into trad or whether you think it is just the same tune played over and over again.”

Tadhg has had hangovers before but this one! Waking up outside? In the Glens of Antrim? In the priest's garden? He's really outdone himself. The priest won't forget this visit anytime soon. What's taking them to Baltimore? What is a Pockel anyway? Why is Tadhg's dead mum writing him letters? Strap yourself in, tune up your fiddle and join Tadhg and the lads as they head south on the trad road trip of a lifetime.

SPRess | 2 comments Hey!! I have a book here that I think will interest Thriller fanatics!!!

Finding Arthur: Betrayal and revenge lurk in the shadow of the Good Friday Agreement was published in May 2018 and is John McClintock’s first crime novel. It has had great praise with a 5 star rating on Amazon and in a review by Brian Rowan, an established Northern Irish Journalist and Author, he stated that the book “reminded us of a peace that was hard won; of its high price and of why it should never be taken for granted. His work of fiction has given us something to think about.”

Set in 1999 after the Good Friday Agreement, Journalist Arthur Williams has reported numerous Troubles stories including the notorious Newry Bombings which killed 23 people. The IRA gang responsible were jailed thanks to the evidence provided by an informer. However, due to the terms of the Good Friday Agreement the gang are released early and are determined to get their revenge on the informer. Arthur is abducted within days of their release, is there a connection? When the case is handed to DI Quinn, a man with a short fuse, SAS-trained Sergeant Gillian Rice is assigned to keep an eye on him. A witty, sharp and engaging debut thriller which weaves through the Belfast, Bangor and County Down countryside in a compelling story of vengeance.

Anyway my book is a take on the Hardboiled PI, set in Margate, England with teenage protagonist, which I guess is a bit of a weird mix but it's sort of all right, honest, I think (I mean it's a thrilling and rip-roaring page-turner of a novel that will thrill you to the max and make you a cup of tea when you're finished).

Here it is:

Please help. I am bathing in my own tears (I mean imagine being able to tell your friends and family that you were there, right at the start of Geoff Smith's awesome career).

Now available at NetGalley for your reading pleasure: http://netgal.ly/qKljF9

Alternatively, you can request a copy here: https://paulmichaelpeters.com/new-page

In the vein of Stieg Larsson and Thomas Harris, Combustible Punch is a memorable novel that captivates readers and lingers long after the last page.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Rick Philips isn't a fighter — but he is a survivor

Haunted by memories of a high school shooting, not even the bottle can wash away the gnawing guilt and creeping feelings of inadequacy that batter Rick's conscience daily.

His life has been a mess of broken marriages, writer's block, terrible choices, and the morbid pity of others.

When he meets Harriet at a writer's conference, the record doesn't scratch as he falls back — only this time, he may not get up.

Harriet Bristol Wheeler is a dark temptress — and self-confessed serial killer

Harriet has no problem killing — and even fewer issues blending back into the background after the act with the cool, calculating eye of a practiced social chameleon.

Manipulative, unpredictable, and exceptionally intelligent, she's Rick's worst nightmare — and the ideal subject for his next book. A book that they are both desperate to write.

Time is running out — but the sadness will last forever

Shadow of punishment

A new re-edited version of my book - Shadow of punishment - has just been released. I'm looking for some honest reviews, especially on Amazon.

If you are interested, I will be happy to send you a digital copy (mobi, ePub or PDF to your choice).

It is also available on Kindle Unlimited. If you are a subscriber, you can download it directly at this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078V3JHRR

"In VitaNuova, Italy's exclusive center for drug rehab, the lives of the people who work there are turned upside down when a young psychologist is murdered.
Hidden truths emerge linking together the apparently random lives of the characters in a dance of intrigue. The mask of hypocrisy slowly falls away uncovering the evil which makes them all both victims and perpetrators of unspeakable crimes.
Two sisters, two lovers and a fake marriage create an explosive mix where love is crushed by hate. A tragic tale of passion, betrayal, blackmail and revenge.
It's up to inspector Nardi to investigate, and soon he will be forced to deal with his own past in order to solve the case."

Kind regards,

J. Oscar Lufuluabo

He's becoming more certain that they've crossed paths before. His deep seeded nature is fighting to conclude his dalliance with Violet and move on, but his future is threatened as his past unravels, because of her...

Thank you for the thread and being open to new authors.
Much appreciated!

Roger Bonner (rogeralanbonner) I am looking for readers, reviews, and comments on a crime psychodrama entitled A Thing of Dark Imaginings.
To grease the wheels, I am running a price promotion.
The ebook versions of Dark Imaginings will be free between July 28 and August 18. The novel is available at Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Google, Kobo, and Tolino. Some streaming services – 24 Symbols, Playster, and Scribd – also have it. It may be available at your local library.
Though Amazon is not part of the campaign, I have asked Amazon to match the discount, and I hope they do that.
Dark Imaginings, loosely inspired by the mass shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007, is a story of cat-and-mouse. Amir, a naturalized citizen from Lebanon, loses his only daughter, Lelah, in a mass shooting at her college. He and his wife Serena struggle to return to some form of normalcy. Amir does not make it – he develops a voice in his head, an angry voice, which he calls The Beast.
The Beast wants revenge on the “gun people” it blames for Lelah's death. It possesses Amir. Hijinks and violence ensue.
A policeman, Inspector Roundtree, investigates the shooting at the college and subsequent murders. The story follows the parallel tracks of Amir and Roundtree. Will Amir get away with murder? Will he recover what is left of his life?
The story may appeal to those interested in gun regulations, the Second Amendment, and violence in America.
The outcome is morally ambiguous. So, if you believe that crime does not pay and bad guys always blink their eyes, you might better enjoy reading something else.
Happy reading.
