Scott Stevens I would like to put my books out there so members can take a look at them. The fourth thriller I wrote (and latest to date) was an action/adventure thriller called Deadly Roses.

This one reached #3 in the United States and #25 in Japan. It probably ranked highly in other countries but unfortunately, my publishing company botched the launch and many rankings were either lost or never gathered. The reviews that have come in have been fantastic.

Love isn't always champagne and roses and it's certainly not the case in this love triangle thriller with a twist. A dominating, abusive boyfriend is being ousted for a romantic hero, but there are deadly consequences. Step into the gang life and witness the savagery as they stop at nothing to seek revenge. You've heard the old saying: "Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love with girl." Now you can add: "Girl's gang-leader boyfriend doesn’t like the new addition."

Thank you,
Scott

Richard Nedbal (fastman) | 8 comments Encoded A Richard Braddock Mystery by Richard Nedbal

My Techno-Thriller called Encoded has been released. It's a techno-thriller. Richard Braddock, the protagonist, is a likeable but snarky retired PI. It's a fun book to read even though the premise is chilling because its possible. I will send a free paperback copy to anyone that will write a review. Here's the text from the back cover:

Not even his wife knows that Paul Elliot, ex-military officer and now the president of the United States, fathered an illegitimate child during the Vietnam war. As a personal favor (and totally off the record), the president asks aging PI Richard Braddock to come out of retirement and find his daughter. No one, not even Paul Elliot, is prepared for what Braddock uncovers: A high-tech plan, ten years in the making, that will bring the United States to its knees without firing a single shot.

I have several reviews here on Goodreads and a few on Amazon that so far look pretty good. Give it a shot.

P.J. Mordant (pollyjay) I would really appreciate a review from anyone looking for a supernatural thriller that isn't written to market. It's quite dark, containing some elements of horror with a pretty broken female protag who becomes the only hope. A reviewer describes it:

"A novel bursting with curious pendants, strange cabinets, caskets which are impossible to open, missing daughters, sugar plantations and pineapples, blackbirds, stinking fog and rictus smiles."

Grateful thanks to any takers!

Guy Morris (guymorris) | 27 comments First of all, thank you Nancy for setting up this page. Hope I do this correctly.

I am new to Good Reads and would like to find those who may be interested in reviewing my novel SWARM, a cyber-espionage and prophecy thriller.

Inspired by a true story that involves a program which escaped NSA labs, a hacked CIA server and an FBI visit to my home.

SWARM rides that fine line between truth and fiction with intelligence and a sardonic wit. Absolutely worth the read.

Currently rated 5 stars by 10+ others, I need more reviews to build an audience.

Blair (blair_denholm) Hi everyone!

I'm looking for reviews for a first-in-series crime thriller.

Title: Kill Shot

Series: The Fighting Detective

Blurb: When only one brand of justice will do...

A body found in the mangroves, mutilated beyond recognition.

What at first appears to be a crocodile attack is soon established as a shocking murder.

Can ex-boxer Detective Sergeant Jack Lisbon solve the mystery before the sleepy town of Yorkville goes into total meltdown?

When a popular MMA fighter disappears, police now face a possible double homicide. The list of suspects grows longer, but no one in the closed fighting community is talking.

Join DS Lisbon and his partner Detective Claudia Taylor on a heart-thumping ride through the steamy tropics of Northern Australia as they hunt for a killer out of control.

Background: Detective Sergeant Jack Lisbon has a dirty secret. One that must never get out.

Told to leave the London Metropolitan Police before he gets fired, Jack emigrates Down Under to resurrect his fading career in the Queensland Police Service. Jack soon finds out the tropical northern town of Yorkville harbors villains just as cunning and nasty as the ones on his South London patch.

Hot-tempered and quick to react with fists that hit like sledge hammers, ex-boxer DS Lisbon is constantly battling his inner demons, trying to do what's right instead of what feels good. Luckily for him, level-headed partner Detective Constable Claudia Taylor is on hand to stop Jack from crossing the line. Most of the time, she succeeds.

Jack's dream is one day to be reunited with his young daughter Skye, who he had to leave behind in England with his ex-wife, Sarah. She's still fuming at Jack for his act of gross misconduct that forced him to abandon her and Skye.

One thing you can be sure of. Jack Lisbon will never take a backward step.

Recommended for readers who enjoy thrillers by Lee Child and Ian Rankin.

Link for review copy: (the date's fast approaching - 9 December - but reviews posted after launch are also greatly appreciated)

Guy Morris (guymorris) | 27 comments I would welcome all reviewers to read SWARM - When Artificial Intelligence Decodes End Time Prophecy by Guy Morris.

Not dystopian or a sci-fi, but rather inspired by a true story of a program that escaped the Lawrence Livermore Labs at Sandia and never recaptured, a true story of a CIA cyber tool kit server hacked by Russia in 2016, and a true story of the FBI visiting my home in '96 to get me to shut down an award winning webisode about the program that had escaped.

Synopsis:
SLVIA . . . decades ago, an AI program escaped the NSA Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, and has never been re-captured . . . true story.

Derek Taylor, fugitive hacker and contractor to the National Security Agency is living under the name of a murdered best friend, hiding from powers who still want him dead. Taylor’s ties to a terrorist hacker group called SNO leave him open to investigation by Lt. Jennifer Scott, the daughter of a Joint Chief—a woman determined to go to any lengths to prove her worth.

But when a Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) internet virus threatens national security, SLVIA warns Taylor the fifth seal of end time prophecy has broken. This unexpected assault soon forces an autocratic US President to deploy a defective AI weapon. Now, Taylor and Lt. Scott must join forces across three continents to stop the evil AI virus from crippling America or destroying SLVIA before an apocalypse swarms over Jerusalem.

Combining conspiracies, cyber espionage, and advanced weapons, Swarm reveals what happens when AI singularity and prophecy collide to shake the world at its very foundations.

Only released n late Oct. 2020, I have reviews on Amazon, Pacific Book Reviews, Reader's Favorite, US Book Review but not many on Good Reads. Besides, I LOVE this book and excited for readers to connect the dots with me.

I wish I had a big image, but there is rich media, photos of the global locations and links to support all of the AI, weapons, science and prophecy references.

Brandon Gee Hello everyone!

I am seeking a review for my internet underworld story "Immortal Cat" : Immortal Cat

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Q2CSYWL

Here is the description: Cats, drugs, and the internet. The only thing that could ruin this party? Cancer.

Billy Luck, a techie-twenty-something from New Jersey, finds himself relapsing into suicidal tendencies after finding out his emotional support cat, Toro, has cancer. When in doubt - ask the internet for answers, but what Billy needs is something really rare...the key to immortality...and to find rare things you often have to search in dark places. Deep in the trenches of the dark web he finds a hint...a name of a place...The Bazaar. A black market so far removed from society it's hidden underground, and for good reason, because it's a place where dreams can be purchased...

...but at what cost?

In this hilarious and heartwarming debut novel, Brandon Gee, tells a cinematic romp of a tale about a man-boy and his beloved cat. A story dealing with the pain of losing loved ones, battles with mental health, and the horror-movie-nightmares that arise in those struggles. But also telling of the hopeful revival at the end of it all.

If you are interested and would like a free copy please contact me! Thank you, stay safe, and happy holidays!

If you love Dan Brown’s, Deception Point, Michael Crichton’s, The Andromada Strain; and A.G. Riddle’s, The Atlantis Gene, you will love Expiration Date.

A conspiracy theory no one would have guessed.

The age-old story of man’s arrogance that could change the make-up of humankind as we know it.

Expiration dates have been a part of the human genome for the last hundred years, but this is the first time the death rate of infants has increased by fifty percent in the first week of birth across the globe.

In 2168, Albany NY, devastated over the quick death of her cousin’s baby, Cardiovascular tech, Elisa Quinn is not buying Orbis’s, the global government, reason as "another genetic hiccup". Together she and scientists, Ashlei Quinn and Claude Monark, set out to discover what the real reason is for the deviation and this phenomenon and to try and prevent the unthinkable-these short dates becoming the new norm for everyone. Elisa investigates the long-standing gestational supplement of nutriment injections as potentially having an adverse effect and hence gradually changing the make-up of expiration dates. They also consider whether the recent surge of deaths could be a global conspiracy, another shift in the human genome or something yet unforeseen. While searching, they uncover an extremist group, Restituere, and their intentions to take the human race in a direction that suites their needs.

Unless they can prevent this deadly groups plans, their loved ones will be lost and the human race will be altered forever.

New Book Release...
Chicago Attorney Robert Mazzara has just been informed of the suicide death of his childhood friend, Marco Pezza. The two of them grew up together in a small suburb in Chicago during the turbulent sixties and seventies, when the issues of household violence were seldom ever addressed. Along with their best friends, Petey Rodriguez, Billy Kozar and Johnny Orozco, they all experienced the coming-of-age events that all young boys go through during grade school and high school, with one exception; They are the products of severe physical and sexual child abuse. As they all grow up into young adults, the demons of their past, along with their abusive fathers, play a significant part on each and every one of their young lives. They all grow up coping with their mistreated childhoods, their violent fathers, and the long-term tolls that it has taken throughout their adult lives. Mazzara reflects on all of the tragic encounters and events that occurred during the last fifty years, culminating with his best friend’s death. He realizes that he is now…the only one left. Once upon a time, a long time ago, Robby and Marco, along with Petey, Billy and Johnny…were once called ‘The Buzz Boys’.

Description follows:

Guess who cried at Lou Thorpe’s funeral

No one. His wife, grown children, and best friends all attended the service, but no one shed a single tear. Poor Lou. He was out for his morning walk when a crazed driver knocked him out of life. Crazed? With no car, no driver, and no witnesses, it’s difficult to say. Was it an accident or intentional?

Until that morning, Bill O’Shea was living the dream. After a career of fighting crime in the big city, Bill bought a condo in the beautiful mountain resort community of Wintergreen, Virginia. When he met his attractive new neighbor, Bill knew his retirement was off to a great start. But then the short-staffed police department asked Bill to help them investigate Thorpe’s death.

Soon, Bill fell into an old routine. Interviewing suspects. Checking alibis. Everyone had a secret to hide, but Bill lacked evidence to tie any of the suspects to the crime. He was missing something--like he had an itch he couldn’t reach to scratch.

Will Bill and his new friends solve the case, or will the murder of Lou Thorpe remain a mystery forever?

If you love beautiful mountain settings, a charming cast, and intriguing plot twists, you're going to love this new series!

Guy Morris (guymorris) | 27 comments I released a new book on June 1 and would value new readers and reviews. My last book was a KIRKUS recommended thriller.

An epic action-thriller over 12,900 years in the making . . . The Curse of Cortés: A modern day epic mystery-thriller with history, archaeology, paranormal, humor and romance.

Layers of true historical mysteries collide on a single island.
A 1531 Spanish massacre that ended a mysterious pilgrimage
A 1565 Inquisition quest for the hidden library of a Mayan prophet
A 1672 abandoned billion dollar plunder with 450 souls lost
A 1911 claim of finding Atlantis, and then gold

Tom Lyons (tomlyons-author) | 16 comments Hello,
My newest novel, currently titled - Grumpy Old Man is finished! 100K words. I already have the names of some professional editors, thanks to Goodreads, but I'm looking to get more quotes for editing. Please either respond here or to: [email protected]
Thanks!!

Synopsis:

Grumpy Old Man is a hilarious satire on modern day life in the East Bay Area of San Francisco. (Think Carl Hiaasen writing about California, not Florida) It’s also a perplexing murder mystery that takes place during, and just after, the Pandemic.

When millionaire land owner Ramsay Marshall turns up dead in Lake Tahoe waters, his daughter, Sophia, suspects foul play. She hires Palmer Doyle, a disabled Afghan War veteran turned private investigator and his oddball crew of PI’s.

Sophia and Palmer have history. Fifteen years ago, in Afghanistan, when Palmer was injured in a mysterious bomb explosion, Sophia was the Army trauma nurse who pieced Palmer back together. There was a spark between them then, but both are married.

Now, years later, both of their spouses are deceased; Sophia and Palmer are single and the spark between them is alive and aflame. Palmer, enamored with Sophia and to help win her favor, is determined to find out what happened to her father.

Grumpy Old Man is fast paced suspense thriller, chocked full of humor and odd ball plot twists that will keep you glued to the very last page.

The novel is approx. 100K words. The manuscript is finished and polished having gone through several rounds of professional beta reads. It’s also primed to be a series.

Trojan

Trojan is now available for free to Amazon Kindle Unlimited Users. I’m seeking to entertain readers to the point where they provide feedback and reviews of my work.

Trojan is a techno mystery thriller I penned that’s based on a “US nuclear armament takedown what if scenario” I envisioned while serving in the US Navy.

Below are the link, description, and sample reviews of my book

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C3LWO20

Description:
What if there was an Enemy within your government hiding in plain sight?
For Victor Walker, Sr. Manager of White House Nuclear Armament Systems, neither an unexpected call to ascertain whether someone had breached the VP’s laptop, nor the fact that the VP lay bound, mutilated, and slain in his master bedroom was cause enough to set his feet on the path he now reluctantly had to take.

The sudden meltdown of America’s nuclear armament and defense systems – Star Wars, Air Force One, Doomsday Briefcase, and Guidance Systems – left his beloved country exposed to a brutal attack from an unknown enemy.

With the VP dead and America’s defense capabilities rendered useless, his assertion that a mole buried deep in government facilitated the breach fell on doubtful and accusatory ears, forcing him to go on the run to clear his name.

With the truth now in plain sight and with him holding the key to resolve the crisis, the last thing he fathomed was that there are those in government who don’t want him to do it.

He must now act and do things on American soil to people he once trusted and knew, things he once believed unthinkable, all in the name of loyalty, justice, and preservation of the American way.

“Victor, who is comparable to an extremely patriotic Jason Bourne, is an intriguing hero.” - Clarion Review

“Fans of the genre will be delighted with the book's well-crafted characters, excellent pacing, and plot.” - Publisher’s Weekly

Thanks in advance and respectfully,
David

A serial killer operating in its county shatters the peaceful existence of the small-town coastal community of Murrell’s Inlet when he decides to pay the close-knit city a visit.

Valentina Simoza (valentinasimoza) Hi, everyone! My name is Valentina Simoza and I recently self-published my first book!
Death of Annalee McKinley is a YA murder mystery novel that introduces topics like sexual assault and it intends to explore the ignorance regarding what that concept actually entails, especially among young people.
Following the investigation of a girl's death, told from different perspectives, I believe my crime novel invites you to keep reading in order to find out what happened and who is to blame. I hope some of you can check it out and please message me if you would like me to check out yours.

Kate Everward (kate_everward) | 5 comments Hi everyone,
I'm looking for reviewers for the first two ebooks in the Oracle technothriller series. Oracle's Hunt.

Here's the description:
A deadly attack. Sensitive data stolen. A secret that must never be revealed.

When an explosion annihilates a highly protected US-based facility, military investigator Donovan Pierce is called in to find the perpetrators and stop them before they strike again. But when he attempts to find what the aim of the attack was, he runs into a wall of silence. The Internationals will stop him from getting to the truth at any cost, leaving him with nothing to help him unravel the mystery but his only clue.

A single word.

Oracle.

Blending equal amounts of action, suspense and mystery, Oracle's Hunt is a fascinating book, a technothriller set in the near future when fiction could very well become a reality. A recommended read for fans of Dan Brown, Tom Clancy, Douglas E. Richards, Daniel Suarez and Michael Crichton.

If you'd like a review copy, feel free to message me.
Kate
