Roger Kean | 17278 comments Your maths ability is slipping, Preston. I count 405 :) On the other hand your percipience is astonishing because you are correct!. I have to wear contact lenses and have done since I was 20/21 and am unable to see well through any kind of prescription glasses because none can correct the degree of astigmatism I have.

1) Though I have naturally brown hair (well, it's a bit grey now) in the childhood and early teens, on vacation from England in Nigeria the tropical sun always bleached my hair to a near blond.

2) I was indeed among the first to beta-test Adobe Photoshop in a working environment late in 1988, but we really put the 1991 version through the wringer. (At the time my company published PrePress, a technical journal on electronic publishing techniques, which is why both Adobe and a third party called Barneyscan used us).

Take it away, Preston…!

Preston | 20148 comments 1. In art school I dated the life model (life models are naked so the art students can learn to draw the human form).

2. In art school I took an advanced photography class but never used a camera to make images for that class.

3. In art school I slept with a Pulitzer Award winning artist.

Roger Kean | 17278 comments #2 (obviously I'm making you out to be a bit of a slut… ;-)

Preston | 20148 comments #1 True

#2 Roger thinks this makes me a slut? Well then I'm a slut because it's true.

#3 Lie Not true but I had a professor who was a Pulitzer award winning artist. He was more than twice my age and straight. We became friends :-) watch

Roger Kean | 17278 comments £1… no that's supposed to be #1 (just can't type)

message 416: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments @Marcie and Roger: She loves books on sociopaths. All you need do is take a look at her books on Goodreads. All sorts of nasty people are there. <-evil grin->

message 417: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 3 is the lie!

Yes Preston I love sociopaths and unreliable narrators especially unreliable narrators that are sociopaths (as meat loves salt). I'm really not a huge fan of female protagonists but if the plot is good enough...

Taintedskyee (Books Books&More Books) | 134 comments Yay! it's my turn to lie with no guilt involve.

1.I love to plan (in my head) various ways to get rid of my Mother in law.

2.I feel guilty when I don't read book and do daily mundane work instead.

3.I love to sketch when angry.

message 419: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 3

message 420: by Preston, Moderator (last edited Mar 21, 2015 12:55PM) (new)

Preston | 20148 comments Taintedskyee since you are in the top readers in your country I think true you feel guilty when you don't read a book because of mundane work. However, I am going to choose #2 because I think #1 is true and #3 is the lie but Kit (Absinthe) chose #3 so I can't choose it.

My choice is reluctantly: #2

Taintedskyee (Books Books&More Books) | 134 comments 3 it is.

I love sketching but not when I am angry,When angry I love planning Mayhem ;)

message 422: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 1. I love spring mornings
2. I love summer evenings
3. I love midday winter

message 423: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments #1

message 424: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Surely #3?

message 425: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe You are right Roger, I hate the sun in winter, it makes me depressed.

message 426: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments C'est moi!

1) My favorite cigarette brand is Philip Morris

2) I don't smoke

3) My favorite liqueur is Amaretto

message 427: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 1

message 428: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 2 is unfortunately the lie.

message 429: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Actually, my favorite liqueur of the moment is Amaretto and I don't smoke (haven't for ages), so 1) is the lie because: A) I don't smoke and B) when I did I couldn't afford Philip Morris.

So Kit is the winner!

message 430: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe BOOM! lol thanks Roger but I'm going to give my turn to Marcie~

message 431: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments Take it away… MARCIE!

message 432: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments thank you, kit!

1) i've been pooped on by a bird, not once but twice.

2) once came home to find a (live) snake on my kitchen floor.

3) the scar above the top corner of my lip is from a dog bite.

message 433: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments #3, I think… must be a lie, bird pooping and snakes on kitchen floors… pah! commonplace ;-)

message 434: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 2

1 has happened to my mom and then some

Taintedskyee (Books Books&More Books) | 134 comments 1 no other option left but maybe you are the lucky one who escaped bird poop...lol

message 436: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments I agree with Roger #3

message 437: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe Sorry I somehow posted a million times

message 438: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments I deleted the extra ones for you. It was tough deleting a whole million of your posts but since it was for you Kit I didn't mind at all. ☺

message 439: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe d'aww ^^ thank you! I don't know why but the mobile app tends to do double postings and weird stuff...

message 440: by Marcie (new)

Marcie | 7096 comments 1) not so lucky taintedskyee. both times were on the head. those little *beep* have good aim :/

2) is a lie. not my experience, but my mom's.

3) she was just a puppy...with VERY sharp teeth. i think I over done it w/the snuggling & she had to put me in my place. luckly the scar now blends in w/my smile/laugh lines. never happened again.

Kit you iz the winner!

message 441: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I just thought Kit loved posting, something of an addiction perhaps, go on, press the button again… and again… How useful to have a moderator who not only moderates, but knows how to delete addictive posting :)

message 442: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 1. I have been pulled over 4 times and never gotten a ticket
2. Childbirth is one of my biggest fears
3. Like running, biking is another of my hobbies

Taintedskyee (Books Books&More Books) | 134 comments 1 you can't be that lucky or maybe you are simply charming;)
I'll take my chance.

message 444: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments 2. It would be my biggest fear but I think you are made of sterner stuff.

message 445: by Roger (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments 3. No one likes running, it's just a chore you have to do to look fit and cool.

message 446: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe 1. Is true, I've never ever gotten a ticket and cops are always either Middle Aged uncle types who feel bad for me or young cute cops who idk just don't give me tickets

2. Also true, my two biggest fears are failure and childbirth (sorry to disappoint Preston)

3. Is the lie but not for the reason you think Roger. I love running but I loathe biking. They do not use the same muscles

Roger you win!

message 448: by Roger (last edited Mar 27, 2015 08:34AM) (new)

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I got ticked off by Preston for breaking a CD rule and calling you a liar, Kit (i.e. being right for the wrong reason… I think).

1) My father rescued me from drowning when I fell in the deep end of a swimming pool when I was just 4.

2) My brother-in-law drove a Formula-One racing car around the Silverstone track.

3) I love to go skiiing in the Swiss Alps.

message 449: by Preston, Moderator (new)

Preston | 20148 comments I always thought the roof of Tesco looked like a ski slope so why go to the Alps? You are crazy but not crazy enough to drive one of those racing cars. So since that one is the craziest it must be the truth. You recently said you don't ski anymore.

3.

message 450: by Absinthe (new)

Absinthe @roger what rule? I'm super confused isn't the game supposed to be trying to find the lie, so isn't everyone a liar?

2?
