Wyatt Davenport (lunaraseries) | 18 comments Hello, My name is Wyatt Davenport and I wrote the Lunara series. I have two novels available for the series so far:
LUNARA: SETH AND CHLOE: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...

LUNARA: GWEN AND EAMONN: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

The Lunara series is about a crew of the meteor mining ship Protector. With Earth unlivible, Mars is humanities home and the Protector watches like a vanguard over Earth, watching for meteors that once destroyed the Earth. When the colony of Lunara is attacked, the crew is forced to Mars to confront their past and the evil government that attacked them. Only they don't know which government on Mars attackd them.

I wrote this series over a ten year period and have 2 published books and three more books ready to be published. Should be out soon enough. I only need a few more buckazoids for my editor.

Thanks,

Wyatt Davenport

I would like to take this opportunity to add my Science-Fiction Fantasy stories to the growing list.

Mind Games: and Science-Fiction Romance and Thriller.
Mind Games by David George Richards
Brain washing with a difference. Can Jayne out-gun and out-think the assassins and shady corporations trying to terminate her now that Julia is also in her head? (Includes narrative and screenplay versions for comparison.)

The Dreamer: Science-Fiction Romance.
The Dreamer by David George Richards
Angela is out to prove that the stick thin body can triumph over all, even Lucy Crow-Bennett’s Barbie like curves and aliens with spiky heads.

The Friendly Ambassador Series comprises: The Beginning of the End, A Gathering of Angels, Changes and Walking with the Enemy. Science-Fiction.
The Friendly Ambassador The Beginning of the End by David George Richards The Friendly Ambassador A Gathering of Angels by David George Richards The Friendly Ambassador Changes by David George Richards The Friendly Ambassador Walking with the Enemy by David George Richards
The Friendly Ambassador Series blends Greek Myth with traditional Science-Fiction, taking a different approach to the legend of Atlantis, the origination of the Amazons, and the true nature of mythical creatures such as the Cyclops and Centaurs as aliens from other worlds. Female characters feature very prominently in the story, many of them in strong and attractive leading roles. Features aliens, war and mayhem on a grand scale and in a very graphic manner. This is not for the squeamish. Even the women are dangerous.

In the Shadow of Mountains: The Lost Girls: Science-Fiction Fantasy.
In the Shadow of Mountains The Lost Girls by David George Richards
Several contemporary teenagers are accidentally transported to another world to face aliens, Knights in armour, ancient technology and, yes, a very nasty but ever so hungry and talky dragon.

In The Shadow of Mountains: The Return of the Sixpack: Science-Fiction Fantasy.
In The Shadow of Mountains The Return of the Sixpack by David George Richards
A very long sequel to The Lost Girls. In this story the girls have grown up to be badder than ever. Robbing tombs might be fun, but having an angry witch and the entire Sullenfeld Hordes trying to skin you can be a downer. Mind you, bumping into the General you once went to school with could be worse...

The Tale of the Comet: Science-Fiction Fantasy.
The Tale of the Comet by David George Richards
Chen-Soo is a super clone warrior woman bent on Galactic domination, but all she really wants is the love of her mother and father. It was a love that she lost on that fateful day. Then love appears in the form of Michael. But does she really need a mate now? And why does it have to be this adolescent boy with only a chocolate bar in one hand and his mother’s handbag in the other?

Thanks for your indulgence.
David

Steven Wood Collins (stevenwoodcollins) | 10 comments Greetings,

My name is Steven Wood Collins. I authored a sci-fi/fantasy novel which was published last May.

You can learn vastly more about me at my Goodreads Author Blog (http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...).

Who would want to read Puramore? Well, if you're a Rosicrucian with a sense of humour, you'll definitely enjoy the read. If you're a humourless Southern Baptist, don't even think of opening the book. If you're a Dr Who fan, buy a copy immediately.

I'm currently working on the sequel.

Cheers.

Chrystalla | 4 comments Dystopian YA science fiction novel Rex Rising (Book 1 of Elei's Chronicles)

In a world where parasites create new human races, Elei leads a peaceful life — until a mysterious attack on his boss sends him fleeing with a bullet in his side. Pursued for a secret he does not possess and with the fleet at his heels, he has but one thought: to stay alive. His pursuers aren’t inclined to sit down and talk, although that’s not the end of Elei’s troubles. The two powerful parasites inhabiting his body, at a balance until now, choose this moment to bring him down, leaving Elei with no choice but to trust in people he hardly knows. It won’t be long before he realizes he must find out this deadly secret – a secret that might change the fate of his world and everything he has ever known – or die trying.

Hello I am L. Darby Gibbs (Elldee), and I e-published my science fiction book In Times Passed at Smashwords.com.

Book Blurb: Book 1: In Times Passed. Brent Garrett is an impulsive twenty-something year old who managed to manipulate a normal nerg box (energy replacement unit about the size of a phone booth) and wound up with a time machine. He has not applied himself to any worthwhile project, which as a member of Meredith Complex he is expected to do. So a leap into the past seemed to be just the recipe for getting away from expectations he wasn't fulfilling and finding new expectations to meet. But things are not what he expected. They never are.

Kashif Ross (kashifross) Hello! I'm an urban fantasy and science fiction writer. My novel, Barcode: The Legend of Apollo, just released this weekend. The story is about Spencer, an infamously well-known “god” uninterested in his own fate. He turns nineteen-years-old on the first day of his last year at Colt Academy, the academic institution for gladiators. To celebrate, he unwillingly mentors a mysterious nerd, watches his family's helicopter plunge into the ground, and meets a strange Louisianan boy that may want to kill him. With the future of his family's fortune on the line, Spencer not only has to fight the occasional trip to Hades, but also train with his most hated childhood friend, discover the truth about his mother's death, and reestablish his legend as America's savior.

Steve Merrick (stevesevilempire) | 20 comments The Navigator

Waking up in a nightmare scenario is the easy part, trying to stop yourself denying the nightmare scenario is almost impossible. The bath was the best thing on offer so I took it, for almost three days eating made me sick and dizzy, vomiting became a welcome distraction from the reality I had just walked into. Initially my mind just couldn’t cope with it and writing this twenty years later I guess it still can’t. Every time that Opus said the words Munich Syndrome I would just retreat to my stars and get lost in them like some drifting canoe. It’s no wonder it took me three days to ask about them. Even when I slept there was that latent fingerprint of a conversation with it, it wasn’t the schizophrenia talking I still believe it was the virus.

Steve Merrick (stevesevilempire) | 20 comments The Magic Laptop Ride

The Magic Laptop Ride is a free compilation of short stories, mostly SCI FI. (Be warned I said MOSTLY!) I also said FREE! I will be adding to the e-book over time as well, but this is not recomended for anyone under the age of 18, the reason its free is because it is a blatent bribe to get you as a reader to try out the SCI FI book the Navigator. Anyway I have included the introduction here..

Cheers
Steve Merrick

By way of introduction.

I remember my very first brush with alternative life style people, it was when I was eleven and we were visiting a hippy commune, at first it was fine until I discovered from a hippy kid that they didn't do Ice cream, it was like an eleven year olds version of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers, If I recall it correctly my deaf mind really couldn't cope with such an unnatural prospect, so correspondingly in my fit of horror I knew that I had to get the hell out of their very very quickly before the anti ice cream mutagens infected me, but sadly when you are in the charge of people who could make a march hare run off screaming it wasn't an easy prospect.

So on that first encounter with the hippies of the seventies I ended up fending off all comers in a tree whilst my chromosomes sat nattering veritable cobblers with these guys who probably hadn't even heard of Coca cola, chocolate or the latest craze called Lego bricks....

So please take on board that the man writing these words is of the opinion that a good quality mint choc chip ice cream just may be the pinnacle of human evolution.

Steve Merrick.

Christopher (ubersoft) Hello, and greetings! I'm pretty new to Goodreads and am still trying to sort things out.

I am a relatively new author. My first novel, Pay Me, Bug! is a lighthearted space opera that I occasionally describe as "what Oscar Wilde would have written if he'd traveled through time to the 1970s and then decided to write a space opera."

Pay Me, Bug!

Other than that I finding myself terribly distracted by stocking my electronic bookshelves. It's pretty slow going because every time I add a book I feel compelled to review it. I'm up to six so far.

Anyway, this is my introduction. I'm finished now...

David P Forsyth (daidpforsyth) | 111 comments Hello everyone. My book Voyage of the Dead has been out for a month now and is getting great (5 star average) reviews on Amazon and GoodReads. It's a new approach to the classic Zombie Apocalypse that is more sci-fi adventure than horror, more action than gore, and more about using your brains than eating them. It follows a group of survivors on a well equipped ship who watch the collapse of civilization on HDTV, then rush to rescue friends and family ashore, only to discover that the remnants of their own government may pose a greater threat than the zombies. Their exploits are contrasted with the travails of a lone survivor in a city overrun by the undead. Even if you are not a traditional zombie fan, you may enjoy this apocalyptic tale of survival.

Haunted by his own terrifying dreams, Mr. Brown must find out why this is all happening and if there is anything they can do to stop it from obliterating human-kind. Addisyn White thought she had her new life, her after life, all figured out. Granted death had not brought her to the pearly white gates, she hadn’t even left Earth. But death had its perks; she got to live forever with her best friend and her assigned Link of Angels, in a beautiful beach house. Even with the changes she was going through to turn her human body into an angelic one, everything seemed pretty easy. Until a gray winged angel comes into her life, then all the secrets and lies her Link had been keeping start crumbling away, exposing a whole new world of dangers she didn’t even know about.

Now Addisyn must fill in the blanks before things escalate too far. Will she save her Link? Or will she be buried in their secrets forever?

Hi, my name is Peggy Holloway. Last year I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try my hand at a science fiction/fantasy. The name of the novel is 3037, which is the year in which the book begins.

I usually write psychological thrillers/mysteries/suspense, but, of the people who have read all of my books they seem to like this one best. It has not been rated yet so if you read it I would appreciate any reviews and ratings. I enjoyed writing this one so much, I've decided to write a sequel.

Wish me luck and enjoy the ride!

"...Without a doubt one of the better Zombie books... What I liked about the story is the `end of the world' because of Zombies is not a certainty. It is not one or two people trying to stay alive. There are pockets of people with a plan to fight back and to take back the earth. The story makes enough sense that it could be possible. This is a story about people trying to stay alive, not just killing hoards of the walking dead."

Glenn Scrimshaw | 3 comments http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

The Alienbutt Saga, War of the Coffee Bean is the my first full length book. I could tell you many things about how great it is but would you believe me? So how about a review instead from Amazon.com.

Meet a new kind of hero - one that doesn't particularly want the job.
Alienbutt is destined to save the universe but there are some that believe something has gone drastically wrong with prediction as a science - Alienbutt is amongst them. He swigs whiskey like there's no tomorrow - and sometimes wishes there wasn't. He concocts his own lethal variant of chilli sauce for his kebabs and poddles along in his own way, making a name for himself, against his own better judgement.

Glenn Scrimshaw has created a universe where the impossible happens more than 6 times before breakfast, every day. The characters are wonderfully deep and engaging and the storyline is reminiscent of Hitchhiker's Guide, Red Dwarf and Starship Troopers (without the bugs).

I read the book twice and found bits that made me laugh out loud all over again. The imagery is fantabulous and the story drags the reader into deep space and beyond, following along behind (but not too close behind) an alien with 4 butt holes and chronic bad wind.

the book is available at all the usual online sites
you can find be on Facebook here so drop by for a chat anytime.

#2 in the series and without a doubt will read #3 when available., April 15, 2012
By The Kindle Book Review - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
This review is from: Flotilla of the Dead (Sovereign Spirit Saga) (Kindle Edition)
Is book #2 as good as #1 in the series? Yes.

Book #2 is a very different storyline than #1. Which is good.

Book #2 ends like a good series book should. Reaching some significant conclusion, leaving a couple in the air, and briefly laying the groundwork and giving a couple of hints for the next book.

The plot and storyline lends itself easily to being a long and enjoyable series. A second author could easily create a series within a series. An example of this would be all of Star Wars books that were created out of the original storyline.

This reviewer rates this book 4.2 stars (rounded down to 4 stars). Remember, a 4 star rating means a fan of this genre will enjoy the book.

Debbie | 102 comments HI,
my YA novel (sci-fi) Amethyst Eyes has been out for 6 months now, please take a look.

http://www.amazon.com/Amethyst-Eyes-e...

"The biggest thing on 15-year-old Tommy’s mind is convincing Mom to let him go to the drive-in, but when an accident claims his mother’s life and puts him in the hospital, the arrival of his estranged, alien father brings more changes than he had bargained for.
It doesn’t take his father long to figure out that Tommy knows nothing about who or what he is. Without any explanation, Tommy finds himself onboard his father’s spaceship where he is forced to trust a man he does not know in a world he knows even less about.
Adapting to his new life seems overwhelming, and his father’s solution may prove to be Tommy’s finest challenge yet…Jayden. A few months younger than Tommy, high strung and always in a mood, the doctor’s daughter definitely didn’t like being ‘told’ to help Tommy fit in. Jayden is not the most welcoming or patient of tutors, let alone a friend.
As fate would have it, Tommy quickly learns that none of these things compare to the peril that comes from being born with amethyst eyes."

It sounds like a simple assignment: track down the mysterious Star Wraith and put an end to its rampage.

But when Travis Archer and his team of inept soldiers find themselves the most wanted people in the galaxy – hounded by assassins, terrorists and their own military – they realise the Wraith is just a symptom of a much larger problem...

Finding war raging between one army intent on destroying an entire species, and another that will destroy the galaxy, Travis must put aside his fears and his past to uncover the truth behind it all. To become the hero he's always imagined.
