by Nancy Pearl. Traveling (and reading about travel) really makes me happy, so this book is a double winner. I have read maybe a quarter of Pearl's recommendations, which still leaves a lot of books for me to enjoy.

20.6 Seasoned Reader - Heather KS's task: Summer Reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Since it is winter in Australia, (contrary to popular belief it is not warm here all the time) I read this book whilst under the covers in bed, sitting in front of the heater, and finished it off whilst drinking it a hot chocolate. All of which are the best things to do in winter. :)

1. Arizona - Desert heat makes me lazy and grumpy. I need trees and water to be happy.
2. a maximum security prison - I'm claustrophobic and loathe authority.
3. an isolation cell - I'm quite balanced between being social and being a loner. I don't like to be forced into either extreme.
