Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Cute cat, Lee. I love when they play in boxes. I used to let my cats take turns in a shoe box and I'd whip it in circles like a roller coaster. They LOVED it. They'd even get impatient for their turn and come and whump each other on the head to make them jump out of the box.

message 211: by Lee (new)

Lee | 2502 comments She'll be lying in the kitchen, Caleb spins her on the hardwood floor, getting her dizzy. Pretty soon, the tail starts to twitch, had enough....then she wobbles off!

message 218: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Thanks, Margie. Kids' missing teeth are so cute, IMO. He's got a missing bottom one, too.

message 219: by Eileen (new)

Eileen I agree, nothing cuter then kids with missing teeth.

Mario is huge in my house, santa brought Mario in 3d for Nintendo, games Wii and Xbox. We even have Mario underwear.

Lucas looks very happy and adorable, are these new Christmas presents, Tressa?

message 220: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Yes, new presents. He got a Mario rev and go car, bathrobe, and video games, too. He loves Mario, can't you tell? If only he had some Mario underwear.

Lee | 2502 comments A little sliver in the sky tonight...

message 238: by Lee (new)

Lee | 2502 comments What was she wearing?...:)

message 239: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments That's a cool picture. You should print it and frame it.

I thought Venus was so bright it's always visible. Isn't that why it's called the Evening Star?

Has anyone ever noticed a constellation? Years ago we were strolling through the neighborhood and I looked up and saw the Big Dipper and Little Dipper. It's the only ones I've ever seen.

message 240: by Gatorman (new)

Gatorman | 8320 comments I've also seen Orion and the Ursa bear ones.

The moon was beautiful the other night, Lee. You're lucky you got a picture, Wish I had.

message 245: by jb (new)

jb Byrkit (jbbyrkit) | 2035 comments Great pic Lee!

I love looking at the stars (especially on the beach), but I don't know any of the constellations.

message 246: by Bandit (new)

Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments Last night right after the fireworks, we were walking to our bikes, looked up and saw the most stars I think I ever remember seeing in the city. I kept trying to figure out constellations, but couldn't. It was very pretty, though.

message 247: by Lee (last edited Jan 02, 2012 03:10PM) (new)

Lee | 2502 comments I think she was checking to see if I had taken down the Christmas decorations, inside yet. *BTW, I did take them down* :)

message 248: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 1434 comments Haha, Lee. That reminds me of a story my mom told me: My grandmother is 92 and still lives at home but she has lots of help. One of her home healthcare people involves her entire family taking care of my grandmother so we've gotten to know them really well. Her elementary school aged daughter was at my Grandma's on Christmas Eve (They spent the night so my mom, who usually does the night shift, could have the night off for her Christmas Eve dinner and church and stuff.) and 8 deer wandered into my Grandma's backyard. The little girl lit up and started shouting about Santa arriving and naming the deer.

I saw lots of stars in my sky, too. Orion was front and center.

message 250: by Timothy (new)

Timothy Asbury | 960 comments I saw a lot of stars last night too plus a few pink elephants.
