Rosie smiled and nodded, "Aww, sweet!" She squeezed his hand a little and looked back at the book

He was a little disappointed that that was her reaction and all she said was sweet? If she kissed somebody else he'll be really jealous but he cleared his throat but said nothing.

She smiled, looking through the photos. She didn't want him to know that she was jealous of his friend so Rosie smiled as long as she could. "Halloween I'm guessing?" Looking at a picture of Collis, Diane and his brother.

He shrugged off the feeling of disappointment and looked at the picture, "Yeah, I wanted to be in my wolf form but mom said that I'm not allowed so I went as Superman. My brother was dressed as Batman and Diane was Wonderwoman. We were the Triad of Superheroes, as we call ourselves."

She smiled at him and kissed his cheek softly, "You're so cute!" She smiled looking back at the book. She silently flipped through a couple of pages, "Which one is your favorite? With you and Diane?" She sailed gently placing the book on his lap.

"One of the other things but what I liked the most was with my brother," he admitted and placed the album on the side table. He stood up and turned to her, "I'm just going to the kitchen to get some water." He smiled and left.

Rosie smiled at his response and walked into the living room, "Who do you think is going to win?" She asked looking at the TV, that was playing American Idol

Diane looked up and smiled as she shrugged, "I don't know but I like the black woman to win," she answered as. She turned back to the tv.

"She's good!!! Wouldn't surprise me if she won." Rosie smiled watching the TV. She didnt know if she should be jelous of her or not... Rosie knew that Collis would just dump her to date Diane. The only issue was Diane has the history and the pictures she just saw was the evidence. She sighed softly and went to find Collis in the kitchen

Collis was drinking water from the faucet when he saw Rose enter from the corner of his eye. He stood up and wiped his mouth, "Heard you talking with Di. Is she great or what?" he asked.

She smiled and nodded, "Really nice, sound like a fun person to be around" Rosie kept smiling unsure of her feelings towards Diane, she liked her, but didnt admit that she was a little jelous. "Is she a werewolf too?" Rosie whispered

He nodded and explained, "She is. However, she is from a different pack," he smiled as he leaned against the counter. He watched her and he thought she was beautiful with her hair in a ponytail and her body in a dress up to her knees.

"I was going to ask that eventually, so you guys are part of packs?" Rosie asked, she loved learning about animals, expecially werewolves.

He nodded at his question, "Yes we are. Di and I met when we were playing at the park at 4 years old when I accidentally pulled her pony tail. My mother and hers were friends ever since."

"So when you say best friends forever, you guys mean it!" Rosie smiled at him.

He smiled back at her, "We really are. She was there to comfort me when my brother passed away." He looked at where the shout of Di can be heard. "I would have never gone a day without thanking her."

Rosie felt her heart fall to the bottom of her stomach, "I'm really sorry Collis... My mother should've just accepted your brother instead of my *ss of a dad..." She said looking at him with sorrow in her eyes

He scoffed as she apologized, "You can't take the past back, Rose. You don't need to apologized for what your dad did to my brother, it's not your fault." He took her hand and pulled it to his cheek. "It's never your fault."

"I know but still... I feel bad that I share the same blood as someone who hurt you for the rest of your life." Rosie said softly.

"I told you to not worry about it!" he shouted as he let go of her hand and his eyes flashed dangerously.

Rosie took a step back but didnt respond. She looked at him with fear instead of sorrow, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her.

"If I said you forget what your father did to my brother, you FORGET!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs as he advanced towards her.

She took another step back, and fear ran through her veins, "Ok..." She whispered and looked into his eyes. She soon noticed that Diane wasnt doing anything to help... "Ill forget it..." She said softly looking straight at him

He took another step forward and he caressed her cheek softly, "You need to understand that it was never your fault. It was mine's and your father's so stop torturing yourself."

Diane pushed herself off the big couch and winced as she stood up. She heard nothing from the kitchen so she slowly poked her head inside to find that Cole was close to Rosie, whispering to her. "Excuse me, love bird. I got to go." She went up to Cole, gave him a peck on the lips and she turned to Rosie which she gave a serious glare, "Take care of Cole." Then she smiled, kissed her on the cheek and left on the back door.

Rosie didnt know how to respond to his statement. It was true though, she did feel like it was partially her fault.

When Diane came around Rosie felt a hint of jealousy when she kissed him, but she didnt let it get to her. She nodded and Diane's command and looked back at Collis, "I'm sorry..." She sighed, "I'll stop blaming myself... But it wasnt your fault either." She said looking up at him with concerned eyes, "Just my dads fault..." She added

He nodded and felt his anger fade as she understood. "I didn't mean to scream at you, Rose. It's just that you blaming yourself for what your father did is like a knife to my heart. Just remember that you weren't born when all of it happened. I have a hand in the death of my brother, Rose. So don't paint me as a saint."

He turned his back to her and looked outside where the moon was out and he wants to howl at it for hours just to see if someone would reply back.

"I'm sorry I hurt you like that..." She said softly. She walked towards him and then around infront of him and hugged him, burying her face in his warm chest. She wanted to whisper three little words, but didnt. She kept quiet, holding him close.

He hugged her back and he felt her warmth seeped through his clothes. "You didn't but I don't want to see you like that because I...like you," he stopped at saying the L word but he quickly recovered because she deserves better than him.

Rosie's heart stopped. She looked up at him with a soft smile, "You do?" She whispered with excitement. He never told her how he felt about her. And now that she new, she felt closer to him. She didnt know what to say, so she didnt say anything. She stood on her tip toes and kissed him gently, unaware of what she had done until after their lips met.

He pulled her against him so that she could kiss him. He sighed as their lips met and when he let his tongue to slip in her mouth, he knew he was in Heaven. He pulled her even closer to touch her at the waist and the other hand at her nape where he was stroking the side of her neck with gently strokes. When he felt her hands gently push him away he smiled, "That was unexpected, Rose."

"Sorry... There was nothing left to say!" She smiled at him, biting her lip so she wouldn't do it again. But that one kiss was the best she had ever had. Rosie blushed softly as she thought about it.

He laughed, "Actions do speak louder than words," he whispered as he softly stroked her cheeks with both of his thumbs. Cheeks that were blushing, "What is it? Thinking about having your wicked way of me?" he teased.

"Maybe..." She teased back, "Felt to me like I wasn't only one enjoyed that little kiss!" She smirked, "Actions do speak louder than words!" Rosie winked at him as he stroked Rosie's cheeks

He laughed and kissed her on the nose before moving to the refrigerator to get some frozen meat. He took out one slab of meat and laid it on the the table with a thud, "Want some meat to eat? I can do just about anything with meat, you know so ask me what to do with it." He smiled as he told her what he can do with a slab of meat.

Rosie smiled at him, "I'm not all that hungry, so do what you want and I might just have to steal a bite or two" she said getting a glass of water.

He shrugged as he left the meat on the sink for it to unfroze, "Soothe yourself." He got out his cellphone and called Diane. "Why did you go, Di? Really? Well for your information, Rose and I made up and we made passionate love on the couch in the living room," he waited for Di's answer and he only got static on her end. "Di? I'm joking...okay see you soon," he told Di as he snapped his phone off.

Rosie shook her head looking at Collis as he was on the phone with Diane, "Your pretty good at making girls jealous huh!?!" She smirked at him taking a sip of water.

He smiled at Rose in confusion, "What? I do not. What Di and I have is strictly a brother-sister relationship." He went to her and hugged her from behind, "And what we have is something more."

Rosie smiled and blushed, "Got that right!" She teased and turned to look at him. She smiled at the grin on his face and gently pecked his cheek

He sighed in contentment as she gave him a little kiss. He gave her one last squeeze before letting her go. He walked around the counter and he decided that meat was not going to do for him. He took the meat and returned it in the freezer. "Wanna hunt?" he asked Rosie as he shed his shirt and he tossed it somewhere near the stairs.

"Eh I'm not much of a hunter but I could help you. Like fly above the trees and lead you to some elk or something." She said with a smile leaning on the counter, biting her lip trying to to look at his muscular chest.

"okay then. If you don't want to be blind I suggest that you turn around because I'll strip," he told her in a joking tone. He popped the button of his pants and he waited for her to turn around.

"But if I turn around then ill miss the show!" She teased turning around with a smirk.

"Well I'm not that shy so if you want to see the real me in bed just tell me some other time that I'm not hungry," he told her as he stripped his pants with a single motion and he shifted to his wolf. Close the door after you, Rose, he said with his thoughts as he ran outside.

She nodded, "Can you still get into my thoughts while I'm shifted?" She asked letting him leave first then shut the door behind her walking to the woods beside her.

He nodded and pawed the ground to show that he said yes. He went to her and he snuggled against her knees before running to the edge of the forest.

Rosie smiled and scratched behind his ear before he ran off. Rosie ran after him and jumped, shifting into a robin. She flew over the trees looking for something he might like. She saw a group of elk and looked down to find Collis already headed towards them, "Guess you won't need my help!" She chirped not knowing if he would understand her.

Collis watched Rose turn to a Robin and if he could smile, he would but the scent of food was close by but when he was about to kill them. He heard a gunshot rang in the forest. He looked down and saw blood on his right side, his last thought was of Rose who was there watching and he shouted in his mind, 'Go and Hide!'
