Is anyone else getting "unexpected error" on GR today? I keep getting them, it's annoying. :/

Margaret | 456 comments Hi Red Pandas,

I will read Promise Me, Cowboy (Carrigans of the Circle C, #1; Copper Mountain Rodeo, #3) by C.J. Carmichael which fits either:
31B ◈ Read a book tagged as western, or
31D ◈ Read a book that features a cowboy

Once I am done we can decide which task to put it against. It should be a quick read at only 120 pages.

And I have other books that fit either of the above or 31A ◈ Read a book with a horse on the cover too.

prag ♻ (janayanation) I'm reading The Legacies (Lorien Legacies The Lost Files, #1-3) by Pittacus Lore , it's a compilation of 3 novellas: Six's Legacy (Lorien Legacies The Lost Files, #1) by Pittacus Lore , Nine's Legacy (Lorien Legacies The Lost Files, #2) by Pittacus Lore & The Fallen Legacies (Lorien Legacies The Lost Files, #3) by Pittacus Lore . Could that count for the all 3 trilogy tasks if I mark them read separately...?

ETA: Uhh, One of them is only 97 pages though. That won't count, will it:(

SO: "You read a quarter of five different books since then."
Me: "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I NEED TO FINISH MORE BOOKS FOR MY TEAM!!!"

Yeah, sorry guys. I feel like I haven't been able to really get into books even that I think are good, largely due to work/cold acquired through travelling/general tiredness. So if Kazen finishes a sidekick book before I finish a wizard one, feel free to use the TA to get some new challenges opened up. But I'll keep trying.

Bethany - you're a rock star, and even rock stars need beauty sleep now and then. ;) This is such a long challenge we're all bound to fall into slumps now and then - worry not! You know yourself best so do whatever works for you, be it take a break or reread a favorite... anything is fine. You can think of it as saving up your energy for the start of the next event over the weekend. ;) We have your back, all is good!

aw, man, I could do all of these if I had enough time.

Can I put like, a soft-claim on the Dragon one? As in, "I'm 25% through a short book with Dragon in the title, but if someone else wants it I'm not super offended?"

message 5230: by Kazen (last edited Oct 04, 2016 08:32PM) (new)

message 5236: by Lory (new)

Lory | 629 comments I did. It took me awhile to get into it, but I think that was mainly because I burned myself out reading. Very three musketeers esque, but more like the movie than the book, if that makes sense.
