I need to finish Never Never 2 and 3...these are short and I will read next.
FYI...I have a ton of #1 in my 'to-read', one #2, two #3, and three #4s that I want to read. .several higher yet

The paperback I have from the library is 119 to the end of the story...there is a 130 paperback choice on Goodreads.

Kazen, can I please copy a bit of your explanation of Emerge? You explained it real well! lol if you had posted this straight away in the Q and A I wouldn't have to scour all the threads.

I'm currently reading #1 in the Enchanted Forest series, #1 in the Robot Series, #5 in the Dresden Files, and #2 in the Invisible Library series. The first 3 are almost done, the last I'm only about 10% in.

I read a ton of series, have a bunch I'm excited to start, and a handful that I'm partway into, so I can totally commit to help making our weapon SUPER AWESOME!

I'm reading the Beka Cooper series. it is a trilogy, so i can do 1 and 2 if needed.

I don't understand this. Seems to contradict the other post...? Perhaps it's that post i don't understand. What do they mean by "existing TA books"? Books currently on the TA shelf? # of books that we can currenly use?

If you have travel agent books given to you that you haven't used we'll convert them to 1 gold each. Any travel agent books given from now on you can use for quests, weapons or gold.

Okay, I decided on "The Maze Runner" #1 in the series

Okay so our team was given X number of books to use of the TA shelf. We used all but 19 of them (I'm pretty sure on this number so let's use it for example). There's nothing we can use those 19 books for, except to turn them in for 19 gold? And if--during Emerge-- we're granted more TA books to use, we can use those for whatever?

I think your summary is correct based on what I just read. This is an interesting challenge...quite inventive...I'm impressed/intrigued. I hope it's fun!

We can level more, I just chose an arbitrary number to get us started :)

When I saw the weapon leveling I thought, Bethany will be all over this! The perfection when reading tastes and challenges match ^^v

GO TEAM GO! By my count, we've already got 5 books done today! And the right books for Level 1 and Level 2 of our weapon. :D :D

As long as the edition you read (and the edition you shelve) are over 100 pages it's good :)

First book in a series

Third book in a series

Fifth book in a series

If you finish other series books that's great too - we can bank them for future use. :)

And if you don't like series fear not - we'll be getting all kinds of quest and monster cards once the event starts!

They are pretty good considering I chose them only due to the word count. #2 didn't have quite enough for Wobble, but the rest are just over 25k. ;) I like the Aspergers-y MC a lot. There's only one more book though!

I've also got another #5 and a #6 on my high-priority to-reads, but after that it's gonna be tricky to find things for all of the numbers.

We'll have to see how things pan out - level seven is seven books for one point of attack. At that time it may be better to put those books towards quests and get experience, etc. We'll see! :)
