Kazen Okay, I think I'm caught up!

Let's go ahead and discard Card 1 - it's a lot of books for little reward, and maybe we'll get a monster or something fun to hit with our sword. ;) And even if it's icky we can redraw tomorrow.

eta: My current read works for Card 3, Uniformity - no matter what doctors and his mam do Martin John (also name of book) has the same (spoilery) problem.

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Sounds good to me! Monster would let us use up a little more hp before leveling.

Over halfway through my Un- book and Bethany's fast so we'll probably finish that quest tomorrow--it has enough xp to level up too. In case we need full health or more hp to fight a big monster. :)

Kazen Ray - no worries, we're here to help! :)

Head over to the Goodreads Librarians Group and join. They have areas and threads for fixing problems with page numbers, cover photos, and even a whole section on "Serieses!" ;) I'd suggest reading through a couple of similar threads to see what can be done and how it's done, but basically you can request for something to be fixed and they fix it. :)

This story is about bigotry...America during WWII...Japanese women who came to America to become wives...individual stories...some heartbreaking, aweful, tragic...I love reading a book where a 'learn' something too...recommend. A definite for 'adapt' word. I got it and had to finish...will finish others in next couple of days...a huge amount of reading time with my travel.

The cover needs to be at least half the color but we don't have to use the tool.

Caly ☯ Crazy Book Lady | 596 comments Morning all! I'm back! 8-) It was the most awesome trip of my life. We fell in love with New Mexico and will probably work on moving there in a few years.

But back to books. I am 75% done with my #1 book and will definitely finish that today ( I don't go back to work till tomorrow Cheers) so after that I am trying to decide which one to read next.

Will Lies, Damned Lies, and History (The Chronicles of St Mary's, #7) by Jodi Taylor which is #7 in the series
or Pawn (The Blackcoat Rebellion, #1) by Aimee Carter which has like a 70% grey cover
help us out more at this point?
I understand how an RPG works for the most part (Played a few but not with books) but not sure what we are going for as a team.

Just let me know because I am sure I can read both at some point and certainly have lots of others if you want me to concentrate on another aspect.

Have a great day all!

Oh and I know Kazen will say "Do what makes you happy" LOL but reading in general makes me happy *grin so help me choose...

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Idea for "Isotropic - having a physical property that has the same value when measured in different directions" -- I rereading some of the Silo books. The Silo is a cylinder, so no matter at which angle you measure the radius/diameter, it's always the same. Does that work?? I think this is the hardest word. :/

ETA: In case you haven't read them, the Silo is very important to the story; it's basically the whole world.

I think we haven't really strategized beyond "level our weapon" and "do quests". *shrug* As for advice on what to read, imo, I'd read #7 because the new quest is new, and maybe no one has anything for it, so maybe we will discard it. Or, check back after you finish your #1 book and see what's up then. Not the most solid advice, I know...

I'm enamored with the concept of this series-- Librarians traveling to other worlds to collect rare books? Awesome! However, they seem to not do a whole lot with that concept besides just creating initial plot movement in a certain direction, and it becomes just sort of a fantasy-action book without a lot of substance with regards to the initial premise. Still good, but brings it from I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS SERIES to just being merely pretty good.

Hmmm. The series book is tempting because Caly is close to finishing her number one, then we'd only need Ella's #3 to finish it. Bones (singular okay!) is also good because potions, maybe?

People who have played the RPG - should we be prioritizing getting a stash of potions via quests? Card two's greater poison is a given (it can't be bought in the store) but how about minor heals and things?

Yea libraries! If you look at the top post what we need is written in bold - we'd like to get a strong weapon, so reading series books may be a good idea. :)
