So glad to see you're breaking up the dark series with something lighter, hehe. You've been on a roll this weekend - amazing job! :D

Good guess, but this one wasn't actually Weeping Angels (which are really the scariest foe in DW). :)

The inflationary language task, while ingenious, doesn't look like much fun, does it. :P I'm throwing that one back and hoping for something better when the sheet turns over.

Once we get the gold straightened out we'll likely be able to fill the STAR tasks completely with TA books so maybe we should leave it in there for now.

I just finished up The Beach House by Mary Alice Monroe, which works for #1 in the series and the STAR spell out (I think)

I am almost done with my current book (#7) in the series and the library still has not pulled my Letter "Y" book so I will plan to finish my book "Hope for Wildlife" as it only has 16 ratings and 167 pages (partly done already) so that will work for Card 5 as well. 8-)

I will have the other book probably by Tuesday so that works fine if it is okay with everyone.

I will claim #5 (level 8 of weapon), though I'm sure my book will work for Spell It Out or other things if we choose not to upgrade to level 8.

Somewhere in between- I loved the first quarter, and then most of the rest was between pkay and good.

Bethany - totally fair! Now we have the whole spectrum of opinion on the team, lol.

We're over 10,000 pts now. Wow! :)

Somehow we lost a point from Battleship though... The all-teams spreadsheet has 473 pts for Battleship on the 'Overall' page, but 474 pts on the 'Battleship Final' page (and on my personal ss). Where'd our point go? I mean, it's 1 point, so it probably doesn't matter, but you know me and numbers....

I think we have a fight coming up in 10 hours or so, right? Any new news on that?

If we level up during a Tournament, our HP refills right? That's different than NRPG because one can't do other things (like turn in quests) during battle. So it might be a good, sneaky plan to save our leveling up until we're very damaged during the Tourney.

I'm not completely sure. If someone changes the edition of a book on their shelf it can "break" that book on the spreadsheet, but I don't remember if there was anything that would only count for one point. At least it's only one point? ;)

The team vs team tournaments are being dropped from Emerge the Victor for various reasons - the mods are working on a post explaining the changes. We won't be going head to head against another group of Wobblers, but fear not! The mods have something else planned. And it's... boss .

I'd still like to do it if we ever have a full rpg challenge but it was a bit too challenging to pull off with this condensed schedule.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for that. :) Saves me the time/energy I was spending stalking other teams' spreadsheets to gauge the difficultly of fighting them, haha. ;)

Hmmm, we're filling the first one of these pretty quickly, this one may fill quickly too... and a shield potion! Those can only be earned, not bought from the store. Hmmmmmm.

CARD 4

A sad little girl is pinning a poster up on the notice board. "Lost Kitty". You feel a little tear form in your eye. You look up to blink it away then squint at a furry thing in the tree above. You look back at the poster, then at the furry thing, then at the poster. Finally you head off in search of a ladder, wondering the whole time who would name a dog "Kitty".
Form a ladder by overlapping the end of one book with the beginning of the next book. At least 3 letters must overlap or your ladder will be too weak to rescue Kitty.
