Lee Sherred (leesherredauthor) | 23 comments Good morning ladies and gents, thanks for adding me to the group.

I'm a relatively new author of, apparently, 'chillingly realistic' dark crime and psychological thrillers.

A bit about me. I've been a martial artist, fighter, British soldier and police officer for far too many years, so I use many of my first-hand experiences as inspiration for my work. My debut ebook, Lines of Justice: Aždaja, is the first in a darkly humorous series I'm working on (the second is due out later this year) and has been getting some excellent reviews on here from readers and bloggers in the UK. Ideally, what I'd like if possible, is some reviews from readers outside the UK? I wrote the plot primarily to appeal to readers here but I'm curious to know how well both the style and story translate internationally...if that makes sense? It's available in all Amazon regions for the equivalent of 99p.

UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lines-Justic...

US https://www.amazon.com/Lines-Justice-...

Aus https://www.amazon.com.au/Lines-Justi...

Can https://www.amazon.ca/Lines-Justice-x...

All feedback, good or bad, is always welcome.

Thanks

Lee

Billy DeCarlo | 3 comments I have free crime fiction audiobooks for you! I'm giving them out in hopes of getting more reviews.

Audible.com has given me 25 US and 25 UK free book codes for each of the three books in my Vigilante Angels trilogy. I think it might also include a 30-day Audible trial, not sure about that though.

All I ask is that you sign up for my newsletter at https://billydecarlo.com (No spam - I only send one newsletter every two months or so and I never give your email address out!) and perhaps post a review if you enjoyed the book.

I'll give these out to those who sign up until they are all gone (75 US and 75 UK codes!). Please indicate in the First Name field if you want UK, so for example "Sally (UK)" or just "UK" if you don't want to provide your name. If no UK then I'll assume US. I'll give them out in order - i.e. when the codes for book one are gone I'll start giving out the codes for book two, then book three.

To learn about the series in order to decide, you can read the description of each book here: https://www.amazon.com/Vigilante-Ange...

I also have two giveaways going for books I and III:
https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...

Thanks! Billy DeCarlo

When Ashley returns home, she receives horrifying news that turns her world upside down; her precious Lily has been abducted!

Reece Garran is released from prison after a five-year sentence. His primary goal is to find the woman whose memory kept him alive all those years while behind bars. This woman had captured his heart and wouldn’t let go. When the transport bus pulls into the town of Craven Falls, Reece thinks it’s just another small ordinary town until he finds a reason to stay.

Catherine Teodora, Ashley’s mother, loves crocheting, baking, gardening, and spending time with her granddaughter, Lily. On a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon, Catherine’s world is torn to pieces. All she did was look away for a split-second, and Lily was gone!

T.R. Leton (toddleton) | 1 comments Hello, everyone.

I've been on goodreads for a little over a year now, but have officially just become a goodreads author! My first book, A Cold Blooded Rain: Book 1 from the files of Maxwell Floyd, Private Eye, was released on kindle November 1st.

The gist:

Former Homicide Detective Maxwell Floyd has hit rock bottom. Broken. Bleeding. A New York minute changed his life forever—his marriage, career, and sobriety lost in the aftermath. He thought he could still make a difference as a private eye, but was dead wrong. He copes with his ongoing failures in love and life the only way he knows—with a bottle. But all the alcohol in the world can't keep the ghosts of his past from haunting him.

Enter Mr. Fletcher, a secret envoy from the Police Commissioner's office. He offers Max an opportunity to make things right and hires him to solve the recent and brutal murder of a famous young socialite. The catch: Max will need to use his own resources while staying out of the NYPD's way. Max is wary but jumps at the chance, desperate for redemption.

The investigation becomes a race to stay one step ahead of the detectives assigned to the case. But while clues are scarce, personal problems abound, forcing Max to contend with his most dangerous enemy. It doesn't help that Mr. Fletcher hasn't told him everything. With so many distractions, Max struggles to unravel the mystery, himself becoming the target of the vicious killer.

I am seeking reviews and would very much appreciate yours!

Crushing Curiosity
Reviewers wanted.
“Some people have a disposition for the macabre. Some prefer fantasy to an unfulfilling existence. Some find that a single moment injects itself into their lives repeatedly until all they live for is that moment. Is that me?”
In this extraordinary thriller a man with an unnatural obsession is in pursuit of his perfect victim. A chance encounter with a young woman then challenges his patience, perspective and strict lifestyle. Misunderstandings transform the relationship between two unique characters while they both face danger neither suspect. This disconcerting story will provoke your emotions as the killer’s personality is revealed and his victim’s plight is uncovered.

Chad Bishop Hello,

I'm looking for reviews. My book is,

About the book:
A technological thriller that focuses on a murky internet deal gone bad.

There are 4.7 billion searchable sites make up 10% of the web, the other 90% is dedicated to the "Dark web". Within that environment there is a thriving economy where everything is for sale: Sex, Armies and Code for hire. Well-known companies buy and sell for governments and NGO’s (non-governmental organizations). They appear as a benign legal boutique companies and consultants, but their true purpose is to be the middlemen/cyber lynchpin for these illicit goods and services.

ISABELLA NUNEZ owns a computer firm in Brooklyn with her lover JACOB COSTA. Accepting her infertility they have a blue nose pit bull called Justice as their “child” and live simple lives as techy nerds. Isabella’s idyllic life is shattered when several days after her lover’s ex-wife, SIMONE JOHNS, reported death, Simone sends Jacob an email to come save their child, he didn’t know they had.

Andy Ben (andyben) | 1 comments Hi,
"The Rip" is my first thriller novel and it's FREE till 28th of December 2017.

SYNOPSIS:
A man and a woman engaged in the search for truth: one for thirst of revenge, the other for the will of justice and a pinch of ambition. Two destinies that will be forced to cross as in the past, joined by an invisible wire to a series of events apparently disconnected from one another. Will the murderer achieve his purpose or will the detective detain him?

A intriguing novel with strong colors of blood and passion, featured in the subjective view of the protagonists in a sequel of action and flash-back, in which eroticism and death dance hand in hand, until the final shot.

Blair (blair_denholm) Hi crime fiction lovers!

Recently released crime noir novel. E-copies in all formats to give away for a considered review.

It's already getting some great reviews from all over the world.

Blurb: The Gold Coast swelters in record temperatures, and car salesman Gary Braswell’s feeling hot under the collar. His sales are at rock bottom, and he’s up to his neck in debt to loan shark Jocko Mackenzie. Gary’s sweating on a fat commission from a mysterious Russian couple. If the loan’s not repaid, there’s more than Gary’s kneecaps at stake – his long-suffering wife’s also in peril. But Jocko wants more than repayment and has sinister plans for the hapless salesman.

When Gary turns his skills to real estate sales, he’s soon embroiled in the murky world of money laundering. Things get even hotter when the federal police start sniffing around. With Jocko on his tail, Gary concocts a scam of unimaginable scale and audacity. Success means money – lots of it; failure – death. But hard-drinking, cocaine-snorting Gary is incapable of planning ahead. So, can he pull it off?

Hilarious and dark, SOLD is noir reading at its best – a whirlpool of sex, drugs, and real estate.

"His wife always comes first. Until now.

25-year-old scrappy Aubrey is fed up with Tom, a married neurologist with two children. When he’s not shoving their relationship on the back burner, he’s canceling their dates. With a frightening health diagnosis looming over her shoulder, Aubrey concocts a desperate plan to have Tom forever.

Kill the wife. Take her place.

Befriending Tom’s successful, kind wife comes easy to Aubrey. However, the closer they become, the more doubts Aubrey has about following through. Then a shocking discovery changes everything...

Louise Titchener | 4 comments I, too, am looking for review for my new historical mystery, Trouble in Tampa. The Wild West had nothing on 1885 Florida. An easy assignment for sharpshooter and ex-Pinkerton investigator, Oliver Redcastle, turns deadly. Betrayed by a passionate woman, he's railroaded into one of old Florida's infamous turpentine camps. Escape means a harrowing trek through miles of dangerous animals, dangerous people, and shocking intrigues. Will Oliver outwit the tribulations blocking his way home?
