No, we can read and finish books in any order!

I think my clarification about the points was what was confusing. Sorry about that. We technically don't get points for hands until each previous hand is complete . . . but by that I mean if the month were to end now, we wouldn't get any of the hand 2 points because hand 1 isn't finished. But as soon as hand 1 is finished, the points for hand 2 start counting for the books I've already placed. It doesn't matter if hand 2 books were finished before hand 1 books, as long as they both get finished during the month. (I add the points in now just so I don't have to later since I know we'll get through those hands eventually, but that's a me thing — so you can completely disregard that!)

Ohhhhh that makes total sense! I was just confused! But thank you for the clarification!

Man I got locked out of Goodreads all night and I didn't even know what to do with myself! For some reason I can't log in on my phone right now, and I don't have a personal computer that works anymore.

Looks like it's still not working on my phone right now (if I click the Facebook login -- which is what my account goes through -- that just never loads) so I may not be on here as much during the evening hours until that gets fixed. I have! It's a very interesting read. I usually don't do nonfiction but that one I actually found enjoyable.

Just for some clarification for you and to lighten your load later when it comes to posting books . . . when it comes to title, it has to be the first word of the title to count (counting or excluding articles) — so you don't have to look at all the words in the title in the future.

So this one I couldn't use S for Sea — it'd have to be T for The, or G for Green, since The is an article and can be used or ignored. (This is a bad example since G isn't actually one we can use, but hopefully you get my point!)
