1. I have central heterochromia, meaning there is more than one color in my eyes. The "main" color of my eyes are blue, but there's a golden/brownish ring around my pupil.

one. i'm an expat. i live in bangkok but i'm from america.
two. i'm a kindergarten teacher which if you had told me ten years ago that's what i was going to be doing i would have laughed in your face.
three. i do not like kids. which is why random fact number two is so funny. i'm great with my class and i love them dearly but ooooh boy i am just not a kid person.
four. american football is LIFE. before moving to bangkok i purposefully took off sundays and spent the whole day parked in front of a tv watching all the games. was usually in a couple fantasy leagues too.
five. i read almost EXCLUSIVELY fantasy. every once in a great great while i will pick up the hot trending general fiction book of the year, but 99% of the time it's fantasy.
six. i don't exist as a human in the morning until i've had some coffee.
seven. i have two harry potter tattoos because i'm just that much of a fan.
eight. i met my best friend on the neopets roleplaying boards almost twenty years ago and since then we've been roommates, down the street neighbors, and will probably live together again once i get back from bangkok.
nine. i'm a beer snob.
ten. i have a degree in literature and history and i'm gonna be honest it's totally useless.

This should be fun ummm…

1. I've done archery since I was 8 and I nearly shot my dad in the hand when I was 10 (oops...)
2. My favourite Disney characters are Peter Pan and Merida, which is unlucky since they're the two that have the least amount of merchandise. I've bought 3 of the same Peter Pan tumbler cups because there's NOTHING else to buy.
3. I want a tattoo of Peter Pan's silhouette on my right shoulder, and I'm trying to save up to get it done (though my dad would probably kill me)
4. I'm really into musical theatre and I've just started at university doing a Drama & Theatre degree. My favourite musical at the moment is Beetlejuice, but the Percy Jackson musical holds a very special place in my heart.
5. Now I'm at uni I'm living in one of the most haunted cities in the U.K, though back at home we had a very haunted house just a 30 minute walk away from where I lived (and I experienced the ghost first hand when I was 10 (we were in the kitchen and the woman giving us a tour was in the larder, and the bottle of milk she'd placed on the table in front of us was thrown across the room and smashed against the wall. She then radioed someone saying she was "closing the kitchen" and they made us have lunch early even though we hadn't finished the tour))
6. My biggest fears are clowns, vomit and tight spaces.
7. Even though I hate clowns my favourite Stephen King book and movie is IT - especially the 2017 version.
8. I have brachydactyly thumbs, meaning they're very short. As someone who enjoys doing my nails, I'm can't wear acrylics/fake nails because they just look weird :( My best friend hates my thumbs haha and sometimes I try to get on his nerves by showing him them.
9. I went to Disneyworld in the summer, which was the best time of my life :D Peter Pan let me crow with him, and hug him (even though I was a girl), and Bo Peep loved my outfit (I was wearing a Bo Peep headband, a Toy Story magicband, pink sparkly shoes, pink socks with Woody on, and a Bo Peep t-shirt that said "The Future is Female") while Woody was in love with my socks. I cried when Bo Peep hugged me, and when I left Peter Pan I cried too. I also tried a float for the first time! (It was a Peter Pan float, with a red chocolate feather, lime ice cream and sprite (the sprite was kind of gross after I finished the ice cream and I don't see how people can enjoy it...)
10. Hmmm... I had a giant crush on Rio Wellard from the story of Tracy Beaker, and Legolas from the Lord of the Rings, but the real love of my life is Chandler Riggs from the Walking Dead.

10 Random things about me -

1. My friends call me A - This became a joke after we all got hooked on PLL

2. My dog, Jerry, is my lifeline. I legit have anxiety leaving him alone for long periods of time.

3. I had a knee replacement done at the age of 15 when I knocked and shattered my kneecap and the edge of my fibula as well as dislodged my patella, after I fell from the bed.

4. I cannot stand to drink hot water and will go to great lengths to avoid it if I can

5. I shop for books when I'm anxious/stressed

6. My favourite flower is the Stargazer even though I'm highly allergic to it.

7. I lived in Canada for 7 years and finished my higher education there.

8. I have an OCD to wash my feet and put cream before sleeping and if I even get up during the night, I cannot sleep without washing my feet.

9. I foster and rehabilitate injured and rescued pups so they can find a forever home with the least amount of psychological damage. Jerry helps us in this project as a foster father to any pups that come in my home.

10. I lack the maternal gene when it comes to human babies, but it goes in overdrive when I see animal offsprings :/

1. the top of my bucket list is to visit every province in Canada. I got 5 to go.

2. I love Winter. Snow is my favourite.

3. Reality competition shows are my guilty pleasure. RuPauls drag race is my #1.

4. When I'm stressed at work I listen to instrumental music.

6. My favourite movies are Breakfast club and Sound of Music. 16 candles is a close second.

7. I have watched every single episode of Gilmore Girls multiple times. I can say the entire first scene word for word.

8. My best friend from high school is still my best friend and we get together at least twice a month.

9. I live in the same neighbourhood that i grew up in, and my kids go to the same school i went to.

1. I get sick if I try to read in the car and it's a big bummer.

2. I have 2 blood siblings and then 6 step siblings.

4. I think buying books is just as much of a hobby for me as reading is. I love big warehouses full of donated books the most.

7. I have lived 20 minutes outside of 2 east coast cities my whole life and I really want to leave and live in the middle of nowhere in a creepy huge house with some character.

8. I'm currently back in community college to work towards a degree in business.

9. My pipe dream is to own my own bar, glass shop or bookstore and be monetarily comfortable in a weird small town.

8. I recently took up beading (by recently I mean 5 years ago when I retired the 2nd time).

10. The last 14 months have been some of the hardest. I lost my sister-in-law Oct 2018 and then my Mother in March 2019. I'm still having trouble getting over both of these losses.

1. It is really hard for me to listen to books on tape (I get distracted very easily)

2. I can read in the car, a plane, a train, you name it

3. I love to knit. My grandma taught me how to do it a couple of years ago and I just gave her the first good scarf I've made for her birthday.

4. I love theme parks and used to have a season pass to Six Flags and Universal Studios

5. I am both a dog person and a cat person. My family has 3 cats and 1 dog, although we really want another.

6. I daydream constantly about running away to a foreign country

7. On that note, I really want to move to London, but sadly that is not possible right now

10 Random Facts about me:

1. My husband & I have been close friends for 44yrs. We lived and grew up together on the same street until my father died when we were 18, my home was sold and we went in different directions to start our adult lives (but always kept in touch). I moved away to college & he moved to another state for a brief time, then back home. His mother still owns their family home! 47yrs!

2. In 2014 I moved back to my hometown we found ourselves both single for the first time since we were in Middle school - we had both experienced difficult marriages & divorces and were both completely content being single - until we went on our very first date with each other -ever - in 2015! FF⏩️⏭️ to celebrating our 7yr anniversary just yesterday! Our 2nd Act in life together has been a blessing to us both!

3. We have 6 boys, 1 girl, 4 DILs, 3 granddaughters & 4 grandsons! All our children are self-sufficient & we love our roles of Grammy & Pop!

4. My mother died when I was 10, and my older sister (she was 23 & at KState) would send me books and then we would talk about them when she called. That was the beginning of my addiction to reading! Reading could be whatever I needed it to be: entertaining, informative, an escape, an adventure, etc…

5. I try to read many different genres, and I’m willing to try anything once. I have no problem giving up on a book if it hasn’t captured me by at least the first 1/3-1/2!

8. In 2019 I lost my youngest son in a tragic automobile accident eight days later I lost my only sister to a heart attack and four weeks later lost my only brother to a stroke. For some reason I’m still here?!?

5. I used to dance. I had done for 14 years, up until I got ill and had to quit. I used to do ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and contemporary. I loved it.

6. I want to be a lawyer when I am older (i am currently in Sixth Form (the final few years of highschool in the UK, basically college). I used to want to be a doctor, but I live for the money, and in the NHS the doctors dont really get paid as much as they should unfortunately. Luxurious life all the way for me.

7. I have three dogs, two cats, two hedgehogs, three snakes and a gecko who live with my family and I. They are great, the snakes are a bit scary though.

8. As a hobby, I bake cakes. My favourite is red velvet, despite the fact Im not allowed to eat chocolate!

9. I own 450 books and am still growing my collection. I live for the buying of books rather than reading them (which is why I need the reading challenges!)

10. I love stationary, and clothes. I have a shopping addiction. I cant go shopping without buying more pens or highlighters, nor without more clothes. Its crazy!
