Answered so far:
When you say " "re-read" the W.O.B.B.L.E name" you mean the word we got from the wheel right? And not spell it out W.O.B.B.L.E.
yes, is the word you get from the wheel. 4 weeks of spelling wobble could be a little... boring
What happens to books we read but are unused? As in can they only be used during the time frame of that set challenge (books read during Wheelathon can only be used for Wheelathon) or will we be able to use books read during the first game, but not used, on other games?
There will be no banking books this time. So books read during Wheels, can be used only for wheels. That goes for every game we'll have.
Btw regarding the first letter - Wheelathon, will there be made a distinction between the numbers of pages. For example some books will count for two letters? Don't know if a FAQ will come later.
Yes, a FAQ will come out later, but one book = one letter.
Quick question: When our team is assigned a word as a spell-it-out, does every team member have to read each letter for that week? Or is it one book per person?
letter per book per person. You need to read (and reread) the word. it doesn't matter how many letters each of you read as long as everyone has 1 letter at least.

I love these longer team challenges. It gives me a little nudge to read a bit more than I normally do, and I discovered a few great books during Tower Teams by reading books I normally wouldn't have picked up. I ended up absolutely loving Six of Crows which was a group read during TT, and I hadn't even heard of it!

I have the exact same problem and that's why I like these challenges as well. I have an addiction to the websites that tell you the free Kindle books of the day lol I have acquired over 1200 books just getting those emails each day. "Hello, my name is Diane and I am addicted to books."

Yep
There will be a lot for people to read, AND, signups will be limited as it will be dependent on the number of captains we get. So if we only get 5 captains (for example) then we will only be making 5 teams based on the people that signed up first and everyone else will go on the waiting list.
So that is why we are getting everything out there now, let everyone get their heads around it, and then a short sign up period

Also will co-captains be required? (That makes me look like such a jerk. I'm not a jerk, promise.)

Oh, it's very doubtful that we'd only have 5, or very few, captains. So no worries! :)

I don't think this makes you look like a jerk! I also would like an idea of the amount and type of work required to captain something like this before deciding one way or another. These big challenges can be a lot of work.

Yes and yes (though it doesn't make you look like a jerk). I will say that there are stricter requirements when it comes to captains this time around, since it's a very involved challenge that will last for months. But y'all will get info on that before signups.

I can generally manage a book a week, but it's much easier if I can plan in advance.

I'm asking because of this answer:
Quick question: When our team is assigned a word as a spell-it-out, does every team member have to read each letter for that week? Or is it one book per person?
letter per book per person. You need to read (and reread) the word. it doesn't matter how many letters each of you read as long as everyone has 1 letter at least.
Does that mean that if some members only read a single book a week then the whole team is limited to being able to finish just one word?

Nope. It's just like a normal wheel-a-thon. As long as everyone finishes 1 letter for the word, then the fast readers can then re-read the word as many times as they can get in for the week. Just making sure at least 1 book a week is read by all members. What is done beyond that will be more points for the team (depending on event).

Hiiii Daphne!!!

That's hard to answer, my first thought it none really. It depends on when we release the next segment each time, which is something we haven't discussed yet. We don't want to give away all our secrets and just tell you everything that's going on ahead of time. So like Olympics probably won't be revealed until a few days before it's ready to start, a week a most.
It is going to be a challenge and unlike anything done before. It's gonna be chaos and call for a ton of flexibility.

I don't see a question. ;) But a LOT will be required of captains. If you are going to be outta town, I'd suggest not signing up for captain. A co-captain would be ok as the others can take up the slack while you are gone.

So true. I failed at that part lol. co-captain it is then! :)

My only question, just to clarify: Will the six challenges within WOBBLE overlap each other?

Nope. They all run on their own, one starting the day after the one before ends.

Perfect! Thanks, Karsyn! I looking forward to signing up...I'll even volunteer to co-captain!

This sounds fun! Glad it starts in June, so I can sign up!

What are your guesses to L & E?!

What are your guesses to L & E?!"
I am SO sorry!!! I wasn't expecting a response, or many people to read my post really. I feel bad now for ruining the fun.

You did NOT ruin anything, please don't think that. I was jokey in my response, I hope that came across!! :)
We were revealing the first B's rules tomorrow anyways, so it came at a perfect time. I just thought it was very funny and you mentioned both in the order that they are in, in the WOBBLE pic.
It was great, really. :D

Unfortunately I'd have to say no..... We'd love to have you in it but it WILL require at least one book a week, there's no getting around that for this challenge. :(

Okay, I'm glad I didn't spoil the fun. Your response was jokey, I just felt bad because I know how much you all put into the challenges and I didn't want to take spoil it for you.
It is funny that I guessed them in order too.
