okay so like i said super quick draft, but just like mechanisms, you rotate the trigger bc rory said something about rotating it i'll figure it out, anyway what that do is it makes the little round thing called part A shoot forward, which triggers some magic engineering thingy (....i need to work on that too) to start sucking up the magic however since there's so much magic and a tiny container, depending on how much magic there is, it starts liquifying the magic so someone with weak/less magic would have like airier foggy magic, and the more magic that gets inside of the tube, it can turn completely into liqud, but the risk is doing too many people and solidifying the magic but magic can't be safely soldified yet and nahri's still working on stabilizers for that, but if it soldifies, then the pressure turns inward and it can cause it to explode ✨✨

i presume lux has professional sports teams? i have no idea how they would work, considering we've got like two cities here, but there are pro teams, right? and college doesn't seem to exist here, so no college teams.

After Cogworks I think they go on to do their own lives/apprenticeships/roles in the world so yeah no college but we've never discussed sports teams or anything? We can but that's neevr been incporated

i was just wondering if it was an option for antonio to be a pro player. because otherwise, i don't really have any ideas for what he should be doing since graduating lol. i mean, he COULD join the militia, but i prefer having him be a professional athlete, if that's possible

you can do that! just say he's a pro sports person and you can be more descriptive if we add later professional pro sports and all

And yep Ash that's fine! Even if someone did it, we can have multiple. I don't recall someone doing that off the top of my head though

so I have a character in the Coven (my initiate), and I was wondering if it would be okay if she was hiding in the Coven kinda out of sight out of mind. her mother would probably be a noble who divorced and ex before marrying noble and also a member of the Coven hence how she has the blood relation. Basically, is the Coven a safe hiding place for this child?

i would just imagine any witch coven in any media. there wasn't too much of a strict guideline behind morals or goals, they're just a family of powerful witches trying to preserve the grimcroft family magical line. there aren't any strong morals associated with them, and they tend to stay out of any conflicts

Yeah absolutely!

We'll just add a members section. We talked about that before and decided to add it when someone asked about adding a normal member. We'll think of an official title for members soon!

mayhaps, we didn’t really think that far into it. you can say top of the class?

plant manipulation is not evocation unless you’re doing something like blasting people with explosive seed pods—then you might get borderline evocation. but generally it’s transmutation or conjuration, depending? growing, reshaping, or enhancing plants is like transmutation, changing existing matter, but summoning plants or calling them from elsewhere is more conjuration. so that’s up to you for the specifics!

Clarifying question to make sure i'm thinking properly: the grimcroft family is a secret bloodline right? meaning it's not public like the Seaveys or Delecroixs?

yes. it's a secret, very much diluted with time bloodline. like sure, there are people openly with the last name grimcroft, but the whole secret society aspect is an absolute tell not a soul secret

can a character have powers that are like similar to heartrenders in the grishaverse?

i think that could work and be a very specific and highly difficult to master form of transmutation
