Okay, this isn't for the group this is more a profiling question because I'm making my OC profile prettier after like a year and I need help. I've been messing with images for like an hour straight and I keep getting one of four options: a 403 error on the image, a [image error] on Goodreads, a 'image' description thing that doesn't show the image, or a working image that breaks about a minute later. I'm exhausted and frustrated so I wanna ask how ya'll do it. Any an all advice is welcome so please, help!

okay! so make sure you're using this:



in between the quotations goes the image LINK or ADDRESS. so, having an image, right click it and copy image address or link, either term for whichever browser you're using. make sure you go to the website the image is from, so don't google and just use an image in the images area. find the image on a website. alternatively, download it and use this website:

https://imgbb.com/

to upload it. there are options to just give you the image link, but those are weird, so just upload it and open it in a new tab, then copy image address or link.

for 403 errors, download the image and upload it to the website i linked! that should fix it

a little more advanced but also very easy, use this:

to resize. start with 100x100 for square images and soon you'll get the hang of what numbers resize to what degree

this is a question purely for my own benefit, like i’m not going to include it in rps (yet, at least) but how exactly are they going to solve the shadowfog problem? like is it even possible?

that is a very good question….. something about a very strong release of magic in a specific way. I’m sure Rory and I are both open to suggestions there. We know that it can be slowed and repelled by strong magic

we're leaving that up to roleplay! maybe it can, maybe it can't. we are NOT pulling a dnd alpha stop i started cackling 😂😂 for now sure, it can be solved. not by bottling magic and killing, but for now that's what keeping the runalithe gang's country alive, unbottling the magic as they send it back and pressing the shadowfog back. once they run out of targets? runalithe will definitely be gone. unless they ask for help (imagine that irony, countries being unable to ask others for help) they're definitely gone. and if it isn't too late, maybe asterath and voxthain can save their borders, too!

1. Could a character freely travel in and out of Vox and Aster?

2. If the circus idea is a go, would it be in vox or aster or both? Or maybe a travelling circus :o

3. That 'Role' bit in the character template. What does it mean. I cant figure out what you're asking for..

Ok b4 you do that, i had an idea that through this crazy plot lore going on in lux, the circus had intentions of travelng andstaying employed for the sake of keeping the peopl of lux happy sparring them moments of enjoyment and distraction.
an evil characterwould destroy my idea but would also make an amazing plot twist of the circus's original intention.
Then again, rory and Isabella havent even spoken about it ISABELLA AND RORY PLEASE CONSIDER BOTH OUR IDEAS

It is completely understandable if you don't want the idea. But basically there's a DnD campaign I follow that inspired this idea.
The carnival can still do exactly what your talking about. Make people happy, everyone is joyous. That whole thing. I totally love the idea.
The character I have in mind generally works at the carnival does work like he's normal. Nobody notices a difference until kids/people start disappearing and then reappearing dead. Another idea, it could be another 'good in front of people' characters, or more interestingly it could be a multiple personality thing or a possession thing. Just my ideas but if it doesn't fit your carnival then that is perfectly fine.

The circus is approved! Isabella and I just need to make some time for creating it and solidifying everything. We'll just do member roles then, when someone claims a circus character they can request a specific role if they think of one!

1) Yes, just give us a broad overall. "Performer", "ringleader", of the like.
