ANALYZING COVID CONTROLS

Are the lockdowns, mandates and quarantines about something more than just the virus?

We might even be distant cousins! I’ve got one in Denmark, apparently.

I'm sure the womenfolk were simply wooed...Viking style!

"In 1996, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s book, It Takes a Village, appeared. In it, she argued that a whole community must solve the problem of raising a child. Of course, this was pretentious nonsense. It runs parallel to the idea that no entrepreneur can prosper without infra-structure that is built with public money, and therefore the entrepreneur and his output should be the property of the State." - Maybe this is some of what we are dealing with now...

Politicians and others do seem intent on talking about Covid as "the new normal" (as if it's here to stay) so nothing would surprise me.

yeah, all the infrastructure seems to be in place for a long-term venture...

👍🏻😊

"It was the unlikely duo of the former US President, George W Bush, and his deputy Dick Cheney who, in 2003, ordered that a social distancing plan be researched, devised and tested in order to protect America from a new pandemic pathogen, man made or naturally occurring.
They placed the full might of the Department for Homeland Security behind it and made sure it was in place and ready to be deployed before they left office in January 2009."

Curbs will affect parts of New York City and two nearby counties, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said
I read your link to the microchip story on the 'overreaction' thread, James, and thought it was really thought provoking.
I've taken a short break from corona discussion to avoid overdosing on it but have decided to return to this thread lol. We can't help ourselves, can we?
Much as I try to find a plausible mainstream explanation to all this, I still can't. The underground is supplying the only logical reasoning. I now think that many of you are right; this is all about asserting control.
The reason control is needed is because of the global economic situation. Levels of household, personal and government debt (even pre-corona) showed that the response to the last financial crisis simply put a plaster over the system's problems.
The powers that be know what's coming and they need to act fast. Sacrificing the economy to keep people 'safe' is a convenient excuse to explain the inevitable unraveling of the system and the economic collapse that will follow.
It's not rocket science to understand what the consequences of complete economic failure will be and so control of the masses is deemed vital.
There are some very good people out there who are genuinely frightened of the virus and I respect them. However, I believe that the mainstream attitude to it is like worrying about a patch of damp in your bathroom when the roof is about to fall in.
By the way, I was in two minds about showing you this yesterday because it is very sad and upsetting. I have decided to post it in the hope that people who don't share our views will begin to question the human consequences of the restrictions they crave. This is nothing to what's coming, it's just part of what's happening now:

That video clip is so sad - and it’s appalling that matters have been allowed to escalate to this stage.
One good outcome of all this control-freakery is the ‘red pilling’ of the citizens who can now see what’s going on. I admit that I was never fully aware of how enslaved we are, even in a Western so-called democracy, like Britain.
The wealthy elites have always ruled the world, as the slave masters/land owners. People think they are free, but the truth is that if you do not own land or the means of production, and have to sell your labour to survive, you are a slave. You may be free to choose your own form of enslavement and boss/ruler, but you are still enslaved.
And now our rulers have decided there are too many of us for the world’s resources, so we need to be culled. In the past, the method for de-population and genicide was war, but now mandatory vaccination will do the job for the eugenicists like Bill Gates.
The Daily Mail is Britain's biggest selling newspaper. It's come in for some stick over the years (and rightly so) but today's front page headline warms the cockles:

Daily Mail, all is forgiven. And, as Peter says, 'the consensus is over'.
I'm not on social media but if any of you are, I recommend following Peter Hitchens. He is the only one of our mainstream journalists who has opposed all of the restrictions since day one.
Peter, you are a ******* legend!

Yes, I follow Peter Hitchens on YouTube. I just wish his brother Christopher was still alive too. I don’t do Twitter or Facebook, though. BTW the link you gave says that twitter account has been suspended !

Hi, Anni. Yes, Christopher Hitchens was a very clever man. It was a great shame he died so young.
Good for you re twitter and Facebook - there's not many of us around.
The link's still working fine my end. If it's not working for anyone and you're interested, just stick 'Peter Hitchens Twitter' in a google search and you'll find it. A friend alerted me to this and I was encouraged to see a wide range of journalists, celebrities and others posting similar views underneath.
By the way, in my haste to post, I forgot to comment on yesterday's posts on here. Yours was very powerful, Anni.
Scott, I nearly exploded when I saw the funeral clip on TV but then reminded myself of 2 important things:
1. The brothers showed great dignity and possibly prevented further upset for their mum.
2. This clip wouldn't have been broadcast over here a couple of months ago.
The more governments tighten their restrictions, the worse it's going to be for them when people finally snap.

They can call British lockdown sceptics what they like, Roth - we're just laughing at 'news' channels like that. By the way, I don't think I'll bother looking it up.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I agree

Got it to a tee.

The World Health Organisation’s leading specialist on Covid-19 has warned against using lockdowns as a primary means of controlling the virus, stating it could have a dramatic impact on poverty.
WHO Director General Dr David Nabarro told world leaders the organisation doesn’t advocate lockdown, after previously cautioning that countries should be careful how quickly they reopen after lockdown during the first wave of coronavirus in March.
“We in the World Health Organisation do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Dr Nabarro told The Spectator.

Sorry, you are incorrect about the use of this term ‘drain the swamp’ - it refers to the swamp of bureaucracy in Washington.
Trump used the metaphor to refer to his plans to fix the corruption in the federal government and the rigged system of lobbying.

This message is for anyone who has concerns about the upcoming U.S. elections, the potential for chaos and civil unrest, or those who fear what a “second wave” of Covid-19 could mean for the future of humanity. If you have found this message on your own please share it with your friends and family. If someone you care about recommended you watch this, please do so with an open mind. We are in the last few months of a tumultuous year and it appears there might be more unprecedented events on the way. As we near election 2020, it’s important to step back and analyze the potential plans of the Predator Class. Specifically, it’s important to understand a number of recent government simulations and exercises.

Have a listen to this brief speech from yesterday. It's spot on and very funny too. Perhaps our Parliament is still alive and kicking?"
That is great! I wish we had politicians like that in the U.S.!
